@@ZavHustles exactly. Go to a union. My local union pays 50+ an hour at journeyman. Which is after five years apprenticing. That’s about 90-105 grand a year depending because they raise the wages by like a dollar yearly and that’s not even including increased income due to experience. That’s just base.

@@jasonalas4746id say to at least get some experience from an academy first. Like right now im doing my red seal, its some learning but after that its 1 year apprentice then im qualified, so all together its about 28 months. Then im looking at about 43 an hour starting. Diving in the deep end and doing on the job learning is only going to demotivate you and itll feel like youre not getting anywhere. So from experience id say do a course first to learn the basics. Itll help a lot!!

The reason why most people critique is to feel better about themselves. I do it so if people watch to learn how to do something on their own they don’t get incorrect info and damage their car and not know it. I’m sure if there was how to be a pharmacist videos your friend wouldn’t stay quiet because it could would cause harm (it’s just an example). So here you go: 1. Really like how you said put the tire under cuz you never know when a jack stand will break with your head under the pinch weld. Why do you keep putting the jack stand there? 2. Did you spray brake clean on the rotors? I know it’s like the easiest thing but you’re teaching a new guy and he’s not going to know they coat them in oil to prevent oxidation while on the shelf. If you didn’t I hope he didn’t freak out too bad when he saw the smoke the first time he drove it. Plus you’re if someone thinks you showed everything and they use it to learn they’ll skip it. 3. Why don’t you ever give hit to the back of the rotor? 4. That’s not how hot spots occur. 5. You mean to tell me you have a whole van of tools and detailing equipment plus work at a shop but you’re using channel locks to retract pistons. I’m not even gonna talk about the back cuz Jesus. You really never bought a $15 tool to retract the pistons? You can’t even by a clamp and use the old pad? Channel locks? How are you going to teach someone brakes and you used channel locks to retract the pistons. That’s why people like me comment. You think you’re good enough to teach someone to DIY and then do that. That’s crazy man. But go back with your buddy and talk in a funny voices about how someone said you used the wrong tool. I hope as you move to bigger jobs you don’t underestimate the importance of importance of procedures and using the correct tools because mistakes only get harder to fix.

@alexandergunaka666
@alexandergunaka666 Месяц назад
I’m not trying to do every video but you talk about speed on brakes and don’t even use a wire brush there but keep using a spray cleaner and brush on non stained black seats? You just have to get the oil out of the pores for the conditioner to soak in. If you really want to use a spray then spray and wipe, but buy a cleaner and conditioner combo it’s made for non stained seats. You’re just wasting yours and the customers time like you are with the carpet too. 60% of stains come out with dry cleaning. You’re adding all that water on another black non stained surface. Then you leave all the chemicals behind to dry. The left over cleaner just cleans everything the wipes across it after making it a stain absorbing carpet. Can you also look up how to use an extractor your holding the water trigger when going both directions when you only do it coming backwards because it not only sprays water and then the vacuum follows but it raises the carpet follicles actually allowing it to let stains come up whe you go forward with the vacuum you pushing them down so it’s making you work twice as long to get stains out.

If you actually get views one day then the customers will watch what you did on their cars. So if you’re going to talk about speed then make sure you show all the steps being done so they can’t say you cut corners. (Clean mating surfaces, lube slide pins, remove corrosion from hardware seats, and replace hardware)

@alexandergunaka666
@alexandergunaka666 Месяц назад
Seriously, whoever taught you how to place jack stand does not like you and is not your friend. Everyone I see there’s no way you could place it there without climbing under the car. You’re gonna get crushed one day. If you’re gonna pay for liqui Molly why wouldn’t you use 0W30? It can take 5w if the spec is met but it even say 0W under the hood and it’s better for the engine and gas mileage.
@alexandergunaka666
@alexandergunaka666 Месяц назад
So you didn’t think to call the customer and tell them the brakes and rotors seem fine. Do mind me taking it on a test drive and then diagnosing the noise because I don’t think it’s the brakes. It will cost this x instead of z and then I’ll take the diagnostic off the job when I figure out what the noise is? You didn’t even lubebthe slide pins which is way more important than what you did. Last, did you really crawl under the car to place the jack stand there? Might as well not even use one of you gotta risk getting crushed to set it up. I mean this with all due respect you need to go learn some more before you keep accepting jobs. You’ll end up with a bad reputation or hurt before you can establish a customer base. You can take this how you want. But it’s just me watching this randomly so I’m not showing off for the comment section. I’m seriously trying to help you out.

yoo when i use the drill brush head on my seats the drill brush lierally destroys the fabric and starts cutting holes in it... every vid i see ppl putting pressure on it and the seat not getting damaged why is mine getting damaged when i use the drill brush to lather the soap
@autogeeks984
@autogeeks984 4 месяца назад
If the seats are super old, drilling it can cause damage. You’ll have to use a soft to medium brush on cloth. Make sure you’re not using any hard brushes on it
@alexandergunaka666
@alexandergunaka666 Месяц назад
You shouldn’t even use an extractor on new fabric seats. The fabric is thin as you can all probably tell. You’re just spraying water and chemicals into the foam. Then when someone sits on it all the boron and dirt mixed with water comes up and stains the seat worse. Boron is the flame retardant in the foam. Do this on light color seats and you start seeing brownish stain appear as you are cleaning? That’s the boron.
