Welp my arowana is starting to get bigger before he was most likely to be 10 inches now I measured his length and he's now 12.5 but can you please tell me how can I grow him more quicker and also I consider him as a male since he eats in a aggressive manner
So what should i give my silver arowana to eat instead of chicken live and live fishes for this growth current growth is 29 inches and tank size is 8 feet.
This is mega cruel, you need like a 300 gallon tank to give this fish a decent life. Its suffering in that tiny tank and theres no stimulation at all. Never ceases to amaze me how people just think this is ok
@@shuvajitkarjee5954ok u know the bigger tank later on in the video don’t u think he should have transferred the arowana a lot and I mean a lot sooner and even then he transferred the arowana into a tank not big enough so he is right
If people would just fricken learn goldfish are not good for predator fish!!! They carry disease and long term not good for the fishes health! Feeding goldfish is for your satisfaction not the fishes health!!
None of your tanks were the appropriate size for that fish… at the end he couldn’t even turn around comfortably…. You shouldn’t be keeping an arowana if you can’t give an appropriate sized tank… fool
I feeding my silver arowana with aquafin basic flake. It was natural fish food. Also my arowana loved it and be super active 🤣 but this fish food is very hard to find it at any aquatic@pet shop.
@@ishankrajput4992 of course, arowana eat floating flakes@pellets designed for surface-feeding carnivorous fish, as well as live, frozen or freeze-dried fish and insects, krill, worms and shrimp (avoid insects or invertebrates with sharp or very hard shells). Feed young arowana 2-3 times a day and adults once a day; feed only what they can eat in 1-2 minutes. Grow up fast with healthy, they have the potential to grow rapidly, up to 2 inches per month. Keep your arowana in an appropriately sized aquarium, the arowana is a surface-swimming fish, so your tank’s width and length are more important than its height.
Nice bro. But avoid live feed now. Especially Gold fish. Because Gold Fish are having many parasites and a lot of fat. Arowana could have DROP EYE at this age easily. Hikari food sticks are the best. Once a week give it 2 roaches. But make sure they are farm grown. Once a month add Epsom salt water to the tank water 20 gms for 200 lts. But just near the mouth of Arowana. One day don't give it feed before doing this. On the Epsom salt day, don't feed anything, next day onwards continue your normal routine of feeding. Don't worry Arowana will become more healthier and shiny. It won't starve because Arowana can go on hungry for a week and still it will be fine. Please don't mind about me guiding you. I love Arowana and totally respect what you have done with your fish. Awesome tank maintenance. Hats off. Cheers! You get Epsom salt in any medical store.
