I really enjoyed watching this! As you know, I have quite similar approach to makeup. I want numbers to go down and buy new makeup really rarely. I don't know if you have seen it, but laralikesmascara has been doing a blush roulette this year. Maybe that's something to consider with your blushes?
@@KatariinasVanity I have seen that one! I think I’m taking a similar approach where I focus on one blush per month to get use/see what’s going on. I fear I won’t be successful decluttering even doing that but at least everything is getting used, and you just never know! Might dislike things more than I think lol. Yay for low-no buys! 💕
Ugh about the nyx label peeling, I have a foundation that does that too 🙄 ended up putting tape on it to prevent the label getting all over my hands. Have you seen Laralikesmascara’s blush roulette, she alternates blushes per month. Blush is my biggest category and I try to rotate through but yeah dunno how I’d finish one lol. @@Justmyeverydaylife7 I’m so glad the NYX is almost done for that reason lol. Tape is definitely a good way to stop the mess. I saw her blush roulette and it’s a great way to structure everything! I’m kinda doing something similar where I’m rotating but man it’s so hard to decide what to declutter! I probably need to spend more time using things so an official roulette is sounding better all the time. I’m not finishing anything any time soon, that’s for sure lol. The green shadow is so fun! You are absolutely killing it with your lip categories in particular! I get what you're saying about the blush category. They're so hard to finish, but you want fewer, but you don't really want to declutter... definitely been there. I feel like you could probably finish off the lighter Glossier blush relatively easily, judging by how much you seem to have used over the last year.

Mascara is such a pain to remove, but I could not imagine doing a full face without it lol overall, it seems like you feel like your collection is pretty manageable - that is awesome!! Truly goals lol.
I’m surprised I haven’t been using mascara as regularly, it’s been very strange but I’ve been liking one less step! And thanks- it does feel more manageable but I think I’m triggering myself to get newer product to refresh things a bit 😂😭💕

Good # of empties! I also noticed that Vaseline has changed. It used to be a very light creamy yellowish color in the big tubs and a little thick. Now it’s white and very very thin. It’s definitely changed from my time.
Look at you with all those pans!! It is interesting to observe our makeup usage in different seasons and points of our lives. Capsule makeup is always nice to kind of reset and focus on specific items too, I like to do that throughout my panning journey.
I totally agree! It’s very interesting and crazy how much our preferences can change! But I guess it makes sense depending where you are in life etc. And for sure simplifying my every day makeup basket has made things so much easier!
I understand that! I don't like wearing much makeup in the Summer, just too hot and feels like it will melt off my face 😅 I only wear a "full face" when I'm going out. My day to day in the Summer can just be mascara and a lip gloss and I'm happy. Do what makes you happy! And when you feel like doing more I will be excited to see an update! Take care!
Yes that’s totally where I am, I enjoy makeup for evening looks, making videos etc but definitely wanted to scale back for everyday/work life! Gotta do what works. It’ll be interesting to see how things eventually change or when! 💕

It is actually all I use! Lately I’ve been using it twice in a row to ensure my skin is really clean (doesn’t feel stripped either) but honestly once has usually done the job!
@@teacherlovesbeauty I will say the Target brand (no fragrance) baby wash/shampoo is a really smooth and nice formula! Just started using that brand and it’s good, though I’m sure any brand would be just fine!
I bet your next inventory is going to show a huge amount of progress! Bummer that Aldi's hasn't been selling the baby wash recently. You've been raving about that one for years!
In some categories I definitely feel there is a big difference, my blushes im just so indecisive about! I’m bummed about Aldi’s not selling it too, hopefully it’s just a temporary thing. If not I can always rely on trusty Target lol.
I feel like you met the ultimate goal: not needing to pan!! lol even though it's fun. If you end up not doing project updates, I would love to still see what you are using like shop my stash style <3
Yes! It’s totally weird to not have as much to rotate and have specific goals! While I still have a decent amount of stuff left in some categories it’s nowhere where it used to be. Might get into shop my stashes again or even just simple updates! 💕
No roll-ins this time. I’ll still continue to work on the remaining product goals but since my collection is getting smaller, I don’t feel as compelled to put things in projects with specific usage goals. In other words, while projects can be fun, everything is getting usage at some point without a project to motivate the usage, which is kinda nice for me right now. While I do still have things I’d like to actually finish/have more priority, I know I’ll use them regularly or as I see fit, and finish at their expected timelines. Or declutter if that makes more sense for that product. Don’t know if that needs to be a monthly update or just a general plan and call it a day, lol. We’ll see! Thanks for watching- and reading! 🤪😅💕

Such a satisfying declutter! I was a little worried when you started talking about pink eye that this was going to be full of things you didn't really want to declutter but had to for fear of reinfecting yourself. Thank goodness that wasn't the case. Hope you're back to 100% very soon 💜
Thank you! I forgot to mention the mascara I ended up tossing from pink eye but luckily that was close to being more of an empty! And fortunately I hadn’t used any eyeliners prior to when I got the pink eye. I have 1 or 2 shadows that could be potential toss outs or might just spray them with alcohol but at their age it might not even be worth it lol. 💕
I really love all the pink on you 😍💕 especially that nail color. I am terrible at using body sprays too, I have a few big ones from BBW that are very summery so hopefully I can get some use this year!

Lol, 23 additional uses. I always think I'm going to use things up was faster then I do. It looks like so little left, but it just keeps going and going. Sometimes a good thing, sometimes not. Great video!
Yeahh the contrast in what I thought vs reality was wide. Lol. To be honest I don’t think much was applying towards the end, I was probably scraping off more lip product than putting on at that point 🤣

That nude lipstick in the pot container looks like it would be a really nice neutral cream blush! I recently traveled and just brought a nude bullet lipstick I want to pan as both a lip and cheek product and REALLY enjoyed it that way
That's really few purchases! While I was off RU-vid I was kinda on low buy situation but still bought way more, especially skincare 😅 Now that I'm done with pregnancies I have gotten back to retinol. I always want to have it in my routine in future!
Hey at least skincare has a chance of getting used up quicker, I feel like makeup lasts waaay longer lol. I will probably always have some form of retinol in my collection as well moving forward! 💕
