Not really - 2 trucks to one accident is pretty common. Pumps (Pump 123) respond in case of fires, and their crew are trained in BLS (Basic Life Support). Aerials (Aerial 233) respond for extrication as they have tools on-board (like K12s, Jaws of Life, etc) to do so.
