Made this hike a few years back recommend it to anyone reasonably fit. There is nothing quite like seeing the dawn rise over Africa way above the clouds. Definitely one for the bucket list!
I love that quote! It's quite profound. Along the same lines, encouraging you not to put off something for fear that it might not be the best it could be "don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good"
you should try it again via the CMD Arete. Did it a couple weeks ago, my second time at the top of ben nevis and it was brilliant. Not great if your scared of heights though, and a much bigger day XD
Thanks my man, no honestly I would do it that way round if I revisited (which I most likely will) apparently on a clear day (rare) the views of the north approach are amazing, so keen to try it out 🙌🏻
I originally come from Horsham, I am now in Steyning, South Downs entry point Bostal Road, amazing hike and can just keep going - access to Worthing, Shoreham, Brighton
