Yes. And the R5 is fine with the Truck wheel in ETS2/ATS which is my current setup. I have decided, though, that an R9/12 is needed for any of the bigger 13" wheels for normal driving sims... with the possible exception of the KS Formula wheel... which is similar in size and weight, to the ES.
UPDATE: After talking to VNM Simulation, the issue with the threaded rod mentioned at 1:00 is only found in the first sample batch of VNM Lites. The issue has since been addressed by VNM and will not be present in retail units. Thanks for watching!
I would agree that they are heavily mishandling customer service and support which can make it difficult to recommend their products. Hopefully they are able to resolve their issues as a company and get back into the simracing hobby as a viable company to shop from. On the other hand, MOZA racing do have great products in the sub-$500 price range and have their products well-stocked at great distributors, like Sim-Motion, Microcenter or Advanced Sim Racing. Unfortunately great companies like Simagic aren't in the sub-$500 price range yet, but we hope to see that one day! Thank you for watching!
