I reached out to AR on the availability of this finish since currently the only option listed on their website is the full polished. They indicated they have a few more designs in the pipeline but nothing has been confirmed yet. Given this video is 5 years old, I'm not holding my breath on whether they are going to release this version. I really wish they could, the fully polished wheel doesn't do the design any justice; I think they would sell a lot more with the dark silver inlay as it looks more period correct for resto-mod vehicles. "LIKE" this comment if you agree with me, maybe AR will see this comment and take it into consideration.
I loved this rims but did not have 515 bolt detentions for my car. so I went for the AR925 225 /40 / 18 but in the near future I will get the Chrysler 300 not sure what model yet but if they have a V8 all wheel ,I'll be putting 24's wheel color I'm still beating on extra gloss black or chrome. yes I will post video as soon as they arive in two weeks or less.
I just bought a set of 4 but just found out the seller only had 3:( can you guys help me with one of these rims? should i return all 3? plumbingdean@gmail.com
Whats the Cost Difference than just getting the as finished Polished over Painted? I'm Considering trying 18x10's rear 18x9's front unless I can get the 10's up front also there will likely be Massaging involved. 1987 Monte Carlo SS Kinda would like to get them finished similar to factory these are real Close to the Stock N90 wheels just Bigger Incase I want to Run Larger Brakes than 12.19"
This is a stupid video. Why show me all the theatrics. I just want to see the wheels on the car. I don't need tricky shots of the driver's wrist or silly angles where the car shows more than the wheels. Show me the WHEELS ON THE CAR! That is all I want to see.
I recently purchased a set of these for my 2019 GMC you didn’t all you ultimate. Once these were mounted and balanced and they brought the truck around for me to see it I noticed that every section painted in black had casting marks and nothing but orange peel on the entire wheel and not just one, all four. I was under the impression that the American Racing brand had better finish work. I currently have a set of Moto metals and XD’s on two other trucks which are exponentially better than these. Won’t ever be buying another American racing wheel.
I’m about to get them for my 5th gen Camaro. Never seen a Camaro with these and I feel like they would look amazing. (Getting ready time punch 🥊 people on the face when they say “aren’t those mustang wheels” lol ) jk.
