Learn Brazilian Portuguese (official and national language of Brazil) with Tatiana Medeiros

Just as any other country, Brazil has so many variations of accents. I have a soft "carioca accent" (Rio de Janeiro accent).

Thank you! But to be brutally honest I should understand Portuguese and Spanish by now. Growing up it was the two I dated the most. And all my friends are Spanish and Portuguese. Today mostly Spanish and Brazilian.. But even more pathetic my wife of 14 years was from San Miguel Portugal shit my son could speak both by 2 fluently lol.. Plus where I live everyone calls my area Lil Brazil and most don't speak English at all. But I so desire to meet a Bonita Brazilian Woman! But not one that loses her heritage morals and becomes Americanized.. When any women comes to the US please please don't follow the white American females and their devilish ways! I live across street from one of their biggest churches and today is my favorite people watching day! No offense to others but Brazilian Woman and their morals how they move in life are so active! They only ones that look like Gods Angels yet still so sexy their Sunday church outfit is hotter than any other females at any other church! I worked at many homeless shelters for men and in recovery atmosphere as a recovery coach. And in my crime days I was the plug so I made friends with everyone every color every heritage. Im slowly friending the one that seems like the youngest but the most popular and loved. He's only one that speaks what he can but he tries that takes a lot . I mean 50 years of Spanish and Portuguese and I'm just starting to self . You first one I felt I able to learn from thank you! Ps your a beautiful lady yourself 😊😉

Tatiana, first let me Thank you for your video instruction. Second, I have a queston, regarding this lesson and others of yours that I have listened to. I do not hear you saying or reading the articles that occur in the phrases. Are they being intentionally left ot? This is similar to what aoccurs with persons that normally speak Brazilian Português. Is there a written or unspoken rule regarding articles being dropped in speech; or dropped when they follow a word ending in the same letter as the article or prepostion, that it follows as in (o, a, os, as, e or é)??? i.e. Preciso resover (os) problemas, eu penso (o) contrario, desejo (o) melhor para você, ela sabe (o) que quer. Thanks in advance for your response.

@PortugueseLanguage Месяц назад
@@CraigSeller no, you need to pronounce them, but since they are just "connecting" words, a native usually pronounce them very fast.

why do you say cade instead of onde for "where" ???

Because "cadê" means "where". It is for daily conversation. - Cadê você? (Where are you?) - Cadê a minha blusa? (Where's my shirt?)
