That crate floor looks cold ,hard and miserable. Not a nice safe place , you take the soft toys and blanket s away for safety? This is the most un natural place for an animal. if you keep them in a crate with nothing ,why have a dog?
Crate training is common and encouraged by professional trainers and vets. When people react like you do with outrage, it's usually because they don't understand and haven't taken the time to read up on it. Crate training and "enforced naps" are normal trainings and will lead to a well adjusted dog. It is not abusive. You train the dog to understand and look forward to having alone time, which is healthy for animals to have. The opposite of it is a dog with separation anxiety who cannot leave your side or have alone time, or a dog who acts up and destroys stuff during alone time because you didn't teach him how to have "good" alone time. You cannot be at your dog's side 24/7 (when you have to go to the store, for example) and you cannot ensure that a dog is always going to be react well to everything in your home (visitors coming over, mowing the lawn, loud fireworks can all lead to a dog who is afraid). By giving them a crate and a safe space, you give them a "home" they can retreat to. It is a place they feel safe and with proper training, they will seek the crate themselves when they are overstimulated! I know the crates seems small, but dogs like their crates to be small and secure. This also prevents the dog form having accidents in their crate, because they see it as their home and don't wanna mess it up. Crating is encouraged by professionals and I used to react like you did to the sight of a dog in a cramped cage. But I have since gotten a dog and have started to understand the crate is not a permanent place to shove them into and forget about them, but a safe place for the dog to return to. My dog usually sleeps with me, but some nights she prefers the crate because she doesn't want to be bothered by me or the cats. No offense, but there is nothing "crazy" about crating a dog. I think it is kind of silly of you to call a licensed vet "crazy" for professional practices that any dog trainer would agree on...
I had a rose ringneck parrot for 6 years and it suddenly died .And when I saw it was dead and blood was coming out of his mouth and eyes He was health and energetic before his death. Can you please tell me the reason behind his death. And now the other female of the same breed is sneezing continuesly since 1 week. Can you also please tell the reason and the cure for it.
People come here to help there animals and this woman bothered to spend her time to explain how to help a suffering animal and all you had to offer was "ur hot" actual moron.
I got an interview for this exact position as receptionist at an animal hospital. I'm so nervous. Don't have any office experience. Honestly I don't like animals so I hope I don't have to have any interaction with them. I mean isn't that what the vetenarian doctors are for. I would just be the front desk person anyway. I just need a job They make receptionist look easy but it seems hard. But obviously I know no job is easy

Me n my peanut are out on the porch and my eyes are burning thanks peanie . Waiting for the wife to come back with the ingredients. Last time I let her run free at night nope it’s harness time
Update we did the peroxide baking soda n dish soap and it worked n we have a deer head chihuahua and only did one wash left it on maybe two minutes. Only problem I couldn’t wash her face n head it’s to small and didn’t want to get it in her eyes so she does have some smell when she gives you kisses I just breath through my mouth so I don’t smell it n that’s going away maybe another week . Ps she didn’t learn her lesson but isn’t running around at night anymore we can’t risk her running into a predator
These people are money hungry. They wanted to charge me over $1600 for ear surgery for my dog that went away in just a couple weeks. Never had anymore problems. I read a comment of a lady that took her dog here for an emergency in the middle of the night. These people wouldn’t treat her dog until she came up with $600 at 3am. I wouldn’t recommend Grady to anyone.
Most dogs are frightened by he static electricity caused by storms, which usually appears before the thunder and lightning, which also frightens them…if you wipe down your dog down with a non-scented dryer sheet thoroughly, and then wrap them in a thunder shirt, this tends to calm most of the anxiety, we have raised over a dozen dogs, and only had a few that were frightened, and this method works extremely well along with the suggestions in this video of playing music or a TV…during the fireworks, we turn on all the fans in the AC as well, good luck.🐶
My wife brought in a pot containing Florida pusley to our screened back porch. Our cat has been eating the plant and immediately throwing up. Is Florida pusley safe for my cat to eat?
9 years ago ? 1.3k view and only 3 likes and zero comment ??? OK, i give your video the 1st comment after 9 years ! thank you very much for taking the time to make this Video, very helpful
Could also be cats are territory and need thing the same way, it out of place I'll take care of it cause Iam in charge here. Or when jumping up they can't see it and they might get hurt. It has to be about them as cats are very self center, it's no different than a 7 yr old child. . But my girl simeses cat did something I couldn't belive a week ago. She tap my leg when Iam in the table. That means hungry. But this time she look at me and walk over to the gallon of water and turn to me and tap the top of the water about 4 times while looking at me. Till it hit me. But you have water. So I go and look and remember as I move something in the morning it was evening my foot behind on my knew knock her water over so she was tirsty and drank after I gave her. But she pretty smart. LOL
My cat used to synchronize with me, we both urinate at 4 am when my alarm went off. For the past two weeks , he stopped. I immediately took him to the vet. Unfortunatelly, she was unable to diagnose him. I've got nothing, but a $300 bill. If my cat will pass away, I'll be beyond devastated. I'm still looking online for a solution. Yesterday , I added electrolytes in his water and I'm cooking fresh meal with chicken and gravy. There is no day , that I don't spend at least an hour researching. I also add in his food, prebiotic. I wish all of you will have a long happy life along your loved felines.
