@@delphinthecity well of course there are! Women with short necks or double chins need v necks to make their necks look longer and prettier, a scarf shortens the neck and makes it look wider but if that’s what they want everyone is free just be aware 🤷🏻♀️
I have tried some in the past, but they were always too long, too tight on the hip or too wide on the waist 🫠 I'm planning to give them a try again though, because they look so good ! If you're interested in Sézane denims, I actually just filmed a video that will come out on Monday where I try all current available Sézane denims 😊👍
Thank you 🥰❤️ I tried with my latest Sézane order the Auguste jacket, it's 50% merino wool and 50% cotton, and it exists in several colors - you can have a look at my haul if you want to see the fit. The Betty from Sézane is 100% merino wool, it's in between a jacket and a cardigan. Both are short, and so very nice for petites 😊 More generally Claudie Pierlot is great for petites, not only for coats and jackets, and there are a lot of shops through the city 😊👍 Almost all my coats are from them !
Hi, Delphin! Thank you for your open and honest manner of showing us how you look in different pieces of Sezane. I liked very much your choices of colours and models. I fact I have just bought Louis cardigan in the same colour ( wine red or burgundy in French ;-) it will be great if you show us your styling ideas about this knit. I love what you have made with the leopard skirt in your last video. Please, do the same with the Louis knit. Thank you!
Thank you so much for your nice comments and for watching the videos 🥰❤️ So far I've mostly worn the Louis cardigan very simply with a jean or suit pant, but I like the idea and the styling exercise, I will think about it and prepare a video for October 😊👍
I love all your ideas for styling leopard print! I love leopard print but get overwhelmed with how to style it. I genuinely love all your examples and you have given me so much inspiration!! I saw your RU-vid short and love that you made a longer version too.
Thank you so much Mia ❤️ I was also afraid of leopard for a long time, but somehow starting craving it and feeling very inspired about it this spring 😍 Originally I wanted to do only the short, but I realised I have too much to say 😂😂
I love the look of this skirt. I’ve been eyeing it since last year. It’s the price that holds me back from purchasing it. I’m not sure I’d get enough wear out of it to justify the cost.
Thank you for watching, I'm happy if it can help !! With longer skirts, especially if you wear boots, you can easily wear some warmer tights 😊🥰 I even have some that look like thin black veil ones, but are actually with fleece inside 😅🤫😍
I love the outfits you built Delphine 😍 it's gorgeous! I especially like the colors you chose on the 3rd option with this touch of bordeau ❤️ I also love the 1st outfit of course 🥰
Thank you for trying on new pieces! If I were you I would have returned all the items. They don’t contribute to make you look fabulous. No intention to bring you down with this comment. Sorry in advance.
Hello Delphine, thank you for the adorable videos. I love your makeup in this one, would you mind sharing your lipstick color? It suits you really well.
Thank you for watching ! 🥰❤️ It was a while ago so I'm not 100% sure anymore, but I believe it was the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush, in the shade "Ruby Blur" 😊
Again a great haul: I would keep Luis from the Burgundy selection but Emile also great - it is more warmer 😅. The Tan skirt also a winner 🏅 on you. If Auguste is merino wool like the one similar I have from last year with a lower neck(or before one year 🤷🏼♀️) I think you should keep- winter I also wear it with skirts as a pullover so versatile.(I think you can find my short in my profile for inspiration). Bottle green is stunning on you but I can understand the feeling of insecurity due to its cut out ❤
Yes to a leopard skirt styling video!!! I have a similar one from Balzac-Paris that I got last fall. I am looking forward to wearing it this year. The Emile is beautiful but you can always get it in other colors. I have it in pink, and I love it…
🥳🥳🥳 It's ready and will be published tomorrow morning, as a youtube short (and I'll probably post it as a reel on Instagram too) 🥰❤️ I hesitated to do a shorter 5mn video, but maybe the youtube short format is more adapted ? 🤔 I'm trying around 😅 Yes, that's true for Emile, good point 😊👍
I love your videos in English for revision! I have the same body shape as you, and I've noticed that you choose the same favorites as me from Sézane. The burgundy looks great on you! Despite your hesitation about the navy Harper, I think it's stunning and I'm going to order it, having it shortened. I have a question: did you keep the Bree leopard t-shirt from Balzac? I'm very tempted to order it in the unique leopard piece. Thank you and congratulations !
Thank you for watching 🥰❤️ The Harper also exists in a shorter version, maybe that could be easier ? I'm not sure that the Harper can be shortened without risking to damage it because of the knit 😢 No, I didn't keep it ! But only because of the Balzac logo, otherwise it was very nice 😊
@@delphinthecity Thanks for getting back to me! I totally get that it can be risky, but the knit doesn’t look too thick? I’ve already tried it with the long Pippa version, so we’ll see how it goes. Harleen is a short version available, but sadly, no navy option! I’m good with the T-shirt, and I went for the tiger necklace-it’ll make a great jungle combo! 😉 Thanks again for your advice; your videos have been super helpful!
@@carlacarvalho7644 Yes ! I found the dress stunning on Delphine. I just placed a big order with Sézane, and my next one, probably in November or December, will include the Harper dress in Navy, if it's still in stock. I’ll share my thoughts after checking in with my ‘seamstress’!
Burgundy is such a great colour on you! The Louis is such a great cardigan. I bought it in navy earlier this year and recently bought it in black. Alas burgundy isn't a great colour for me close to the face. I also love the leopard skirt and the lyna on you. The Auguste jacket looks lovely but I would send it back if you are unsure. Very helpful video as always especially with regard to sizing - im the same size as you! I wholeheartedly recommend trying a Betty. I have 2 - black and ecru. The weather was so chilly this past summer here in Ireland that i wore them as jackets a lot. Ihowever I'd recommend sizing up to a small - i wear xs in Louis too. Thanks again for another great video! ❤
Thank you so much 🥰❤️ And I'm happy that the review can be helpful 🥳 I really need to try the Betty again ! Last time I was afraid that I would not really wear it, but now with the current weather I would have so many styling ideas 😂😊
I also kept the Louis and the Emile. Keep the Emile, it is already sold out! The Louis looks nice on you. However, I would have bought it one size larger then you got it, looks a bit too small. Tschau Petra
Thanks for your reviews! I have some of the same Sezane pieces and agree about all of them except one - I returned the burgundy Emile because it was too itchy for me. I appreciate your try on posts - they help me decide what to put on my wishlist.
Thank you ❤️ Yes, Emile is a bit itchy, but somehow less than some other pullovers from Sézane ? 😅 I had a short sleeves top under, and it felt OK on my arms, but maybe after trying the Angie one, everything felt soft 😂😂
Louis is one of my favourite cardigans and Lyna is one of my favourite jumpers. I wear both a lot for work and on the weekend 😊 I’m normally a size Small in Sezane however in bodysuits I go up 2 sizes because I am very petite but busty, so you might want to try a Small or Medium. Paola is another merino short knit navy stripe dress however it is more form fitted than Adrienne if you want something not so loose. Harleen is the short version of the Harper dress and it comes in black or camel colours. It is the same length as Adrienne but is form fitting like Harper. Great video as always Delphine, I hope my suggestions are helpful. 💕
Thank you for watching and for your lovely comment ❤️ Lyna was one of my favourites too, and I have a feeling that Louis is going to join it !! Thanks for sharing your experience with the body, I will try to order in 2 sizes bigger ❤️ Someone else also mentioned Paola, I definitely need to try it ! I am not sure about Harleen, I think the Harper is maybe a bit too tight for my taste and my body shape 🤔 Have a lovely day 🥰
I adore the Lyna and the Louis on you, ( I’ve just added both to my wish list), and think you should definitely keep the Tan skirt! You are perfectly lovely, and everything looked better on you.
If you love burgundy have you considered those stunning Axele boots in the patent "purple?" I bought them and the colour is definitely burgundy - and they are so so nice! Meanwhile, I also bought the Louis in burgundy, and the Lyna in navy. They look lovely on you! Definitely "keepers!" It was interesting to see how differently the balloon sleeves on the Louis draped compared to the Angie and Emile. Yeah, maybe the heavier ones are just too thick and stiff for that sleeve design? And for your borderline pieces - if you don't feel like saying "Hell Yes!" maybe they're actually a no? If you send them back you can keep the money for a future collection that will inevitably have "hell, ya" pieces 🙂
Thank you for you comment ❤️ I just had a look at the Axele boots, the color is indeed gorgeous, and the heel looks very comfortable ! Maybe I'm just too picky, but I'm not a big fan of the sewing lines in the middle front of the shoes 🙈 It's a pity, they would have been perfect otherwise !! Yes, that's my guess to ask why this sleeves shape has different effects 😊🤔 Lyna was already one of my favourites, I think I'll add Louis too and look for new colors 😍😍 Very good point with the "Hell yes"/"No" approach, I normally apply it but sometimes I forget... Thank you for the reminder 🥰❤️
@@delphinthecity It's so funny what you say about the seam line on the Axele boots. For some reason I don't mind it in the patent leather & ankle boot style. But for I cannot stand the effect in their Amandine tall boot - which I've been eyeing up in the burgundy for 2 years now haha. I just can't do it. Instead, next pay day I'm going for one of the two new Theodora tall boots with no seam!. Still deciding between the smooth leather Iced Chocolate, or the "taupe" suede. (Seems like an awfully dark taupe to me...)
I also just got the burgundy Louis cardigan & I ADORE it! I also have brown hair & think it looks amazing on brunettes ❤ I felt the same way about Angie (and returned that style), but you should keep the Louis!! 🎉
🥳🥳 congratulations !! Yes, burgundy is such a beautiful color, and I was so happy when my color analysis showed that it was a good color for me too 🥳 Louis is amazing, I'm going to keep it 😍
Good choice Delphine, when you keep the Louis and the Emile cardigans you have both options regarding the warmth of weather. I kept the Louis as well! 😊 Have joy with your purchases!
@@delphinthecity Well, I am actually taller and wear a bigger size, then you, but I have the harper dress in size S, and it fits nicely. You could just order two sizes and keep one, that's what I always do with Sezane
I prefer the two navy & white pieces on you, Auguste and Adrienne 🥰 They are very gamine friendly with the contrasting color and trims, high neck, pockets and big buttons, horisontal stripes...the dress with a belt would look 👌
@@delphinthecity it's almost identical to the Adrienne, minus the high collar and not that oversized. I am 5.2 and took the xs, which is the smallest size.
@delphinthecity I am 1.59 and 55 kilos, 75B bra size. I think you will be OK with the xs ❤️ The Adrienne is marked as slightly oversized whereas the Paola is not mentioned to be oversized. I would say it's a straight cut but on me it's not shapeless, and my hips are on the curvier side. It is a thin, soft, 100% merino wool knit.
Yes, it's gorgeous!! 😍 I tried it last winter - I think maybe even in this exact color 😅 But I did not like that the little "lace" effect on the front was not going lower, it felt a bit weird that it was stopping in the middle 🤔
