If you're interested, I create and mix my slowed tracks in FL Studio. I use a plugin from Native Instruments for my reverb sounds. It's called Replika.

Music journalists vary in terming Evanescence a rock or metal band, and many identify gothic elements in their music. The band is generally classified as alternative metal, gothic rock, gothic metal, and hard rock. Other genres used to describe the band's sound over the years include industrial rock, symphonic metal, nu metal, and symphonic rock. Evanescence have also incorporated other styles in their music, including several forms of electronic music, progressive rock, R&B, soul, trip hop, and Eastern music. The band cites Garbage, Living Sacrifice, Type O Negative, Portishead, Counting Crows and Sarah McLachlan as musical influences. The music was compared to that of Lacuna Coil, with less aggressive instrumental playing, and to that of Linkin Park, albeit “with a female voice”. Initially Evanescence was assigned to the Christian rock scene. Although Amy Lee says she is a Christian, Evanescence as a band has distanced itself from the Christian music scene since the release of their album Fallen. Meanwhile, in their metal encyclopedia, Rosenberg and Krovatin assign Hellraisers to the wave of success of Nu Metal. The music played uses elements of nu and alternative metal, in the form of modern and guitar-heavy rock music, which the group features with the “expressive, often melancholic-powerful vocals of Amy Lee, […] interspersed with one or two synth sounds and one slight tendency towards ballads.” Although the group is referred to as Gothic Metal due, among other things, to their popularity in the black scene and their corresponding appearance, they keep their distance from the Gothic scene. “We’re not goth kids. Our music is inspired from a variety of sources, we love Björk, but more than anything we are into orchestral music.” There are also no musical overlaps with the independent style of Gothic Metal. In genre representations, the band is even cited as an example of foreign uses of style terms in the black scene and especially in gothic metal music. Amy Lee, Ben Moody, and David Hodges have writing credits on this song. Hodges sings backup vocals. The story of Romeo and Juliet - as well as the Claire Danes/Leonardo DiCaprio movie version of it - may be an inspiration for this song. Original versions of Origin feature an "Anywhere" outtake in which Hodges sings the chorus horridly. The outtake can be accessed by rewinding the CD from the 30-second "Origin" intro that starts the album. In a Reddit AMA thread in 2016, Amy said that when she listens to the song, she can picture "a Renaissance fair date" The Origin vinyl features the official version, as part of the Ultimate Collection box set.
