1) There's no way that 9 out of the 10 best weapons are blades. I prefer blades because they weigh a lot less, but most of the most powerful weapons are blunt weapons. Also, the most OP weapon in Oblivion is the Hatreds Soul bow with high-damage enchanted arrows. If your Marksman, Sneak, and Agility are maxed out at 100, you can kill almost anything in the game with two or three long-distance shots. I killed Umaril in two shots once, killed Jyggalag in three shots, killed Umbra in three shots, and killed Mankoran in two shots. If you snipe enemies from far enough back, it drains most of their health AND freezes them because of the speed drain. And if you have three Hatreds Soul bows in your inventory, it will refill the magic every time you swap one out, so you'll have fully charged bows without using Varla Stones or Soul Gems. NOTHING is more powerful than a maxed-out archer with the best bow and arrows.
It was harder for me to find sorcerers ring then mundane ring. In my first playthrough I got 10 mundane rings but only 2 sorcerers rings. I also got the realy rare ones.( Ring of War, Ring of Wizadry, Ring of Perfection). Also amulet of Swords.

Have you considered to get and keep the "head of mother" for the final quests of the dark brotherhood and display it on a plate in your bed room? Did you use a mod for setting items so nicely in shelves and on the rack? Or you get tgem in base game, Id like to know how. Im a professional joarder lol
I've never seen the Goblin Totem in any list. It is a good staff to get. That Mundane Ring is the bane of my existence since it is so rare to get. I believe that if you are a high enough level during the main quest in the sewers, the recruiter is supposed to spawn with one too. Very nice list. :)
I really like the Oblivion but I got so tired of those Oblivion Gates they were such a pain in the butt. One or two gates would have been okay but there must have been at least six. That and I think there was like five voice actors. Lol
I haven't been able to buy a system console for myself ever this will be the first one I get to buy a PS3 tomorrow and for my son a Sega Genesis multi-game pack and myself Oblivion game of the Year edition. Oh the many hours I've put into this game this was when I was fresh out of high school. Great memories great game
btw you get the most powerful version of items after level 23ish not 30. also found the mundane ring on my very first playthrough, im a sucker for dungeon diving so we'll see how quickly i find it the second time around, found it shortly after hitting level 24
Im going through some mendela effect stuff i could have sworn there was like a easter egg in this game where you get the biggoron sword from ocarina of time
How did you manage to get both the Icestaff and the Grey Cowl of Nocturnal? You need to steal the Icestaff for a thieves guild quest and need to give it in.
Umbra is better, it's a lot more powerful at any level, and it's also weightless if you decline the Umbra fight and then go defeat her after the quest is complete. Also, the Hatreds Soul bow with the best enchanted arrows is far better than any other weapon in the game.
