Grandma Butterfield's Christmas Pizza 1009am 22.6.23 i am having to get off now as ineed to save leccy...unless peter can suggest how best i could utilize brian butterfield's how to utilize fuel consumption without resorting to fiddling the utilities scheme?
If I remember right. I attached one of the springs through the big rear eyelet (remove the rubber bush) and stretched it around to hook onto something at the back. Can't remember exactly what, but it worked and didn't rattle. I've gone over to the full Vance Hines system now. Wasnt happy with the power loss with the wes lake headers. Shame really as they sounded great.
@@Neltheros yes bud, it felt a little sharper on take off..(although that could of been a placebo effect from the raspy exhaust note) it felt like it had a little more "urgency".. But the power seemed to drop off earlier and it just seemed to run out of steam.. The pre '19 model street scrambler is in no way shape or form a rocket ship, its heavily restricted by the cam, but it struggled to hit 145kmh top end with the Wes lakes on.. If your going to decat.. buy a nice Zard system.. or the V&H system.. or send your cat section to Meerkat Mufflers.. by all accounts, he has it sussed. I did love the sound of the straight through and the stock tailpipes tho..
I don't have a go pro yet. I only have my phone to film on and just wanted to give a roadside impression of the exhaust sound. When I finally get an action cam I'll have a go at doing one. 😊👍
