When I first saw this, it reminded me of the drink I had in college. Sunset/sunrise something. My memory says desert sunset. I've been trying to figure it out.
Love a good margarita, but I will never understand why people put salt on the rim. I get a little salt when you take a shot, but these people putting all around the rim of the glass!!! Ewww
Hi, we are transitioning into the Cocktail World and wondering should we use 'Funkin mixes' to add to cocktails? We are not sure top bartenders would do this? We want to start off the right way and put the right look across. Make cocktails from scratch Vs add a funkin mix? Thank you ✨
I'm 57 years old, but am actually pretty new to making and drinking cocktails. I've never been much of a drinker at all, but have recently discovered I really enjoy experimenting with making and drinking cocktails at home. So, I tried my first whiskey sour this evening. It was pretty tasty, as I tend t like sour flavors a lot, but to be honest, so far the Old Fashioned reigns supreme with me, followed in second place by a good upper mid shelf Margarita. The whiskey sour seemed kind of two dimensional, even though I used a good quality sweet and sour mix. I probably won't be making another, but I will continue to experiment with bourbon cocktails.
I wouldn't use the term "handcrafting" in the same sentence with "Margarita mix". "Ice cubes have been spent" LOL you actually believe this stuff don't you? If you're not actually handcrafting your fruit cocktails with fresh fruit I'll take a hard pass. Clearly this is not a video on how to make cocktails, it is a commercial for drink mix concoctions. Here is the reason I disapprove, consumers have to trust that whatever is in that drink mix bottle, or ANY brand of drink mix is actually free from concentrations of poison (an over abundance of substances other than fruit). I spend a lot of money on quality liquors. When making a cocktail the last thing I want mixed with it is substances made up of long funny looking words. If I want to add salt or sweeteners I add my own. This is just an unclever commercial disguised as a "how-to" video. Now I feel shameful and dirty for clicking on this! I guess some unclever people surmise that there is just not enough commercialism these days.
Let me add that your product is also promoting a word that has been recently demonized for today's standards. The ugly connotation and use of the word "master" is clearly unacceptable! Good luck with that! LOL!
