I fish for many types of fish but catfish is my favorite. On this channel you will see me fish the Ohio River, Ky River and many other ponds and lakes throughout the state. As my channel grows so will the distance and areas i fish. I will also be making home made fish baits to share with you.
Do you guys live around the Carrollton area on the Kentucky river? I’m originally from Carrollton. I miss the fishing down there so bad! I maybe living back soon. The fishing in Ohio sucks! Thanks! Fish on Darlin! 🎣
Yes, we live in owenton right next to the ky river..I havent got to fish it a lot through the summer, but this fall, I will.. I fish the ohio River a lot too and have caught some big ones out of it. But I definitely like fishing the Ky River more.
I've fished with it in a river, and it stayed on the hook pretty well. But I would say you want it to dissolve some so the scent can attract the fish. I will look up the stuff you mentioned and see if it would work in this. I'm always looking for new ways to make baits, thanks
Hey im from hazard kentucky. Would you wanna collab? Im just now getting started on youtube we paylake fish alot but wanna venture out to rivers and lakes. We dont know much about river fishing but would love to collaborate and make a banger video together ❤❤ please reply My channel is- Hazard Kentucky Fishing & More.
Try adding the YUM AFTER you dissolve the gelatin. Heating the UM to a boil? is destroying the scent molecules. Which will render it ineffective to the fish smell wise.
I was down on the river today went up pass your fishing spot. Fish there about a hour and figured i would go down below twin to get out of the wind when i went by your fishing spot a big i say a big tree fell over at your spot, might have mess up your fishing dpot
I'll have to check it out. Hopefully, the tree brings more fish and doesn't mess up my spot. The Ky River changes so much each year. Every time the river goes up and down, something new appears. Sometimes it's for the good and sometimes for the bad.
Actually, it doesn't, but a few other subscribers suggested that i put a layer of cheesecloth in it. And that's a good idea to make it stay on the hook better. But when i fished with it, i never had an issue. I fished the Ky River with it, and it stayed on the hook for the whole time.
Girl you need to wear the mud off that bank fishing. Use to dig green worm there when i was a youngin and fishing there. It was before i turned 16 and I'm 65 now. My dad and uncles and cousins used to fish there. I've been subbed for about year now. Hope you catch another big one there like you did last year.
Thank you. I actually like fishing off of the bank more than i do the boat. But it's hard to find good spots nowadays. No trespassing everywhere. When i was younger, you could just walk the river bank or cut through someone's land to fish on the river bank..not anymore.
Yeni gördüm. 1 haftadır bu yöntemi araştırıyorum. Teşekkür ederim. İçerisine sardalye karides veya konserve balık koymayı düşünüyorum, deniz balığı için. Türkiyeden selamlar.
came across this video when I was trying to find the original video I saw a year or two ago that talked about making fish bites/ fishgum. Just can't seem to find the original video anymore.
When I last made this stuff, I used shrimp heads and shells left over after salting some shrimp for bait. Just blended the heads and shells with some water in a blender, then boiled it for a while so it releases all the smell and taste into the water. then strained the solid matter out and used the liquid. (make sure to filter out all particles as they will ruin the gelatin not letting it set properly. If you want to stay on the hook a bit longer, just incorporate a piece of pantyhose in the middle of it, cheaper than cheese cloth and comes off easier when you do want to remove it.
This is awesome! This needs WAY more views!!!! I'm just getting into fishing and can't get behind the idea of throwing plastics in the water. Not just the pollution but the lost bits will get eaten by fish and birds and kill them. Just seems about as stupid as can be. So I'm going deep, trying to find recipes that work and hold up reasonably well enough to be used. Otherwise, I'll just start a worm farm and go with nightcrawlers. Just a suggestion; you might try mixing in corn flour instead and adding garlic powder or some fish oil. (Can use the gel caps you take as a vitamin. Just prick them with a pin and squeeze the oil out). Much cheaper than the store bought scents. Thanks for your video!
I would say only make what you need at the time. mine kept for 1 week out in about 75 degrees, but i ran out before i could see how long they would last.
@fishingmisty ok thx for the reply. I was just curious cuz I live 5 miles from a lake and was thinking about making them and selling them. I made some fish bites like your video and forgot them in the tackle bag for 3 days and they started to mold. Do these gulp worms dissolve in water over time? Also was the hot chocolate mix for color or is it a important ingredient for the recipe?
Just for color..yeah i am going to do a video this fall on the baits ive made and see how they hold up in the tackle ox and fridge..yes they desolve over time but it takes awhile
There is a guy who lives in Florida that i got this idea from..he has caught many fish off of it..but as for me i made that back in the winter and never got to really try it out the way i wanted to..im about to do a video on all the bait ive made and test them out in the fall..so keep an eye out for it.
@@fishingmisty I remember a story about glitter and how it shows up in crazy places. England was talking about banning glitter unless it's biodegradable.
Yes i have a video catching fish with the homemade gulp worms and a video with the carp bait..but the other baits i dont have videos for them..it was around winter time when i made them and i never got to fish enough with them to see how good they work...im going to make a video soon on those baits and try them out in the fall.
I have used the torn up plastic bass worms and quartered them lengthwise then cut them into about 1" lengths julian style and caught plenty of bream. with the same one bait.
Wheaties makes a good dough ball for carp just crush a handful up in your hand and dip your fistful of Wheaties in water and squeeze in and out till saturated and then squeeze out all the water.
