Would you be happy to do this mod for me?I have 2 of these heads running a stereo rig. 1 of the heads is broken at the moment was going to take it local amp doctor but after seeing this video my thoughts are that you are the man for the job. Where abouts in the UK are you, me travelling would be no problem. Please respond, thank you 🤘
The original has a lot more "twang" in the attack. The original sounds almost clean on the attack. I think maybe more input volume and less gain. Or maybe simply you need new guitar strings or elixir strings.
I never understood why none of these companies(line6,fractal,neural) that make these modelers never included a rockman preset??? Obviously going by what you achieved here this unit does that Rockman tone very well so why L6 never took advantage of that is a mystery to me? $500 for a 40 year old cheap plastic X100 is INSANE!!! Every Rockman X100 I ever owned broke!
Amazing classic sound, 25 years ago nobody cared about those models, now suddenly everyone’s waking up to that historical icon of rock, the late 70s 50W JMP!
That was a great tutorial on the 2204 ,,Im putting that on the wish list . great tone / chops in the hands as well ..I like how you use a SG ,that is a great combination that I think gets overlooked in a lot of amp demos...good job..Cheers .
Um…….the OD on this amp sounds amazing actually. Wonderful for any type of music aside from trash or super heavy metal. I WAY preferred the sound you had before the EQ pedal. That was a very nice mid range that would sit really nice in a mix.
Hey sorry to necro-bump but what model is that SG? sounded just *incredible* on Ch 1 mode 2. Have recently acquired an Einstein 50, it's en route to me now...
Do u find it hard to adjust your playing going from a Les Paul to an SG? I just got an SG, am used to LP's and I mis-fret a lot when I first sling on an SG.
Really great demo! How loud is it, can it keep up with a drummer in a live setting? I'm thinking of getting one and using it in small gigs, but I'm worried it's not loud enough.
Fantastic thank you! I have a V30 1x12 16ohm 2 input wired in parallel cab. Do I plug in to 1 of the 16 ohm inputs of the cab and the 16 ohm input of my Marshall or do I have to use the Marshall 8 ohm mono input ? 😅
I ran mine lower output thru a Boss NS-2. From there it went into a Tube Works Real Tube II preamp on clean. I utilized the stereo fx loop on that. My Rocktron Replifex has a parametric which I also used. Mine sounded great. Used it for a long time.
Know this is an old vid so you may not remember, but was the Helix set up in 4 cable method? Really tempted by one of these little heads. Looks pretty seamless to go between cabs and IRs?
My Valvestate Marshall Amp out puts 150 watts and says total load must not be less than 4 olms and the Marshall VS412 says 140 watts RMS and says 8 olms. Do these work with each other?
I have both. It's completely different. Vh2 has channel 3 structure, but it's more modern. Vh2 has way more open bass and gain. Vh4 is hifi, and Vh2 is super hifi.
That is very nice tone, very nice job, you actually found it. but Everyone would like to see how did you manage Helix, which pedals you use and in what order. that everybody wanted to see. maybe you could share with us in another video. maybe you can show us how you exactly managed it.
