I do not believe that an OSHA inspector will be very happy with this setup. I will not recommend the use of a fall arrest system (lanyard with a shock absorber), because you might not have enough free fall distance (required fall clearance distance = length of the lanyard + deceleration distance + height of the suspended worker + safety factor).
How hot was the SH on this. What is a good strength to get the job done and not have to do multiple applications also don’t want to burn the grass. Thank you
Thank you!! You wouldn't believe how many people do that ,they make the damn rops with the slide on the opposite end of the shock absorber now days lol
Hey Dave, do you by chance have any updated videos walking through the whole set up process? Displaying the ground tie off etc. Also, what size rope do you use & any recommendations brand of rope or where to purchase.
Joseph Wonderless in North Port Fl, the other side of the fence that faces the neighbor’s property is that neighbor’s responsibility. I know this because I am the neighbor and called the City trying to get said fence owner to clean it, (we had approached him asking that he clean it and he declined). City said it’s my problem.
just wanted to say thanks, worked like a charm ! I let mine sit for about an hour and blasted the stubborn stuff off with a fan setting on an ordinary multi tip garden sprayer. Now my side of the neighbor's fence looks as new as what I had installed last year, really you can hardly even tell a difference and it looked worse then what is shown in your video !!!!!!!!! Massive Thumbs UP !!!
Usually Sodium hydrochlorite (SH. aka: bleach). But, it's not the store bought clorox type stuff which is only like 5%. Commercial grade SH is 10-15%. Add a surfactant (like Dawn dish soap and it helps the SH stick/dwell longer & not drip off the surface too fast.
@@danr9595 Do not ever mix bleach and dish soap! Dish soap almost always contains ammonia. In case you missed it in chemistry, ammonia and bleach is a toxic combination.
1.5 gal bleach, 1.5 gal hot water and 1 cup powdered laundry detergent like that oxy stuff, put it in a pump up sprayer. Don't need a pro, do it yourself
@@rsears78 you have to be careful. Water the grass first, drench the ground, and the roots will not suck up the bleach. If you spill or accidentally spray any SH (bleach) on plants, just quickly dillute it with water.
The next opportunity I get, I will make a better video. I would like to do a series on roof safety and have several videos showing different types of rope operations, anchors, systems, etc.. and show how to set them up. Keep checking in and hopefully we can get something put together that you can find more useful.
CentraFlo Pressure Cleaning & Roof Cleaning , man that would be most appreciated. We're on West Coast FL, and my ultimate goal is to spray roofs from the ground.
+CharlieWayne2012 I have taken both "rope operations" and "rope technician" which are 40 hrs each... we have considered offering and teaching a condensed course for those that want to learn. My best recommendation would be to join a local Florida Pressure Washers page I created on Facebook.. "FPW - Florida pressure Washers". Lots of great info. Until we figure out more with offering classes or more videos, join that FB group and subscribe to this channel for updates.
