I noticed that as well! Just looked at the doppler radar (Schaumberg radar on Kachelmannwetter) and there's an area of serious rotation just northwest of Homburg on 1 August at 20:30. I wouldn't even be surprised if it was a brief tornado, but luckily this happened right over an unpopulated area. (Felsbachtal)

@@Gurrrrrrkinein, das ist eine sogenannte Superzelle, ein organisiertes Gewitter mit massiven Windscherungen. Der trübe Schleier in der Mitte der Zelle ist der Niederschlagskern. Auf gut deutsch, dort schüttet es aus Eimern. Meist sind diese Art von Gewitter von mittel- bis großkörnigem Hagel begleitet. Allerdings können sich (meist frontseitig) ein oder mehrere Tornado/s aus dieser Zelle bilden. 🙂
@@SirenE57_SBK Tatsächlich gab es bei uns keinen Hagel, da wir nur unter dem Rand des Gewitters waren. Der Kern hat uns nicht richtig getroffen. Gab hauptsächlich Windböen und Starkregen. War aber auf jeden Fall schön anzusehen ☺️

Im Saarland und in der anschliessenden West/Nordpfalz, gibt es 2 Probleme, was Gewitter angeht: 1. Da sind 2 Wasserscheiden. Die erste ist im Saar-Pfalz Kreis und die zweite ist später in der Westpfalz am Rande des Pfälzer Waldes um Kaiserslautern und Johanniskreuz. 2. Die Gebirgsketten im nördlichen Saarland, die Vogesen in Frankreich, der Pfälzer Wald und im Norden der Hunsrück. Alles Gebiete prädistiniert für Gewitter und Tornadobildung.

99 kA? Glaub i kaum weil der Blitz was bei mir eingeschlagen hat letztes Jahr hatte nur 24 kA gehabt und der Knall war so heftig dass es mich fast aus dem Bett geschmissen hat. Dazu war in der Garage und Pferdestall die Steckdosen, Lampen, Schalter für den Elektrozaun Schrott. Komplett zerfetzt
