Asiamah Academy Exists for one simple reason, to inspire basketball players all around the world to be the best that they can be on the court. The plan is to help you unleash your Lion Mentality. Fortunately for me, I was able to unleash my Lion Mentality and it led me to playing High School Ball, College Ball, and Semi-Pro Ball.
Growing up I only had two mentors in my life. At the end of my basketball career, I remembered those two mentors alot. It led me to come to the conclusion, I want to be a mentor to others because there may be players out there that have no one to guide them. I want to help as many athletes as I possibly can. I hope that my videos can bring you alot of tips and tricks that will help you all make your basketball teams, get more playing time and more. If no one says this to you, I want to say it to you:
I BELIEVE IN YOU!

Great video! Love the detail and description in the move- I am definitely going to take some ankles with this. I am wondering if you have any basketball camps or training?
I do have an online training program that I run! If you send me an email I can talk with you & your parents about my online training program. You can email me at asiamahacademy@gmail.com & you can check out my website! I got resources there that can help you improve your game. Got two PDF documents that are on sale for $7. I can sit in my room watch TV while i'm spinning the Basketball or even trying to learn how to palm it. Frankly I mistakenly bought an outdoor ball which makes it complicated, other than that what your saying is logical. Good point there.
The issue for me is not losing but being too tense. My teammates compliment me on my defense but when it comes to offense for some reason I get too stiff. Idk why.
@@eric4life497 gotta work on it… practice your offense.. start with one and work on it as much as you can. Wanna be a better shooter? Ball handler? Or passer? Gotta pick one and repeatedly work on it 💯
@@AsiamahAcademy Gotta point there. I would like to do the first two. But I would start with basic shooting and then learning to have confidence in going for the drive. Good point there.
There are times when I go to the gym and have the court to myself and just practice shooting and do layups. But when I go on days where there's a half court game going on or somebody just wants to do a 1 on 1 workout, I do feel pressure. Maybe I'm just ashamed that I'm not good enough or just afraid that I'm gonna mess up. I have to realize is just have fun and maybe I shouldn't be too uptight. Thanks for the video.
Yeah I hear that, but you gotta remember that it’s good to mess up! That’s the only way to actually learn and improve. You can’t be too hard on yourself when your going through a process. Just have to trust it and enjoy it along the way! You’re very welcome. Just stay hungry & motivated 🦁🦁🦁
It seems out of all the tutorials I've watched, I feel what your demonstrating is logical and well detailed. I started picking up the shot hesi and now I gotta learn to make a shot and not miss. I gotta work on good muscle memory. Thanks for the video though.
U have just unlocked something I've been tryna figure out mentally for over 10 years!! I gotta remember... The Hang.. start low then go into something.. it's like my rest, charging the battery, and exploding into a string of moves/combos. I just wanna be quicker from my hang into my next strong of moves.. I've learnt so much.. thank U so much bro.. new sub fam.
This comment Legit just made my day!!! This is why I do what I do bro, to be able to help people unleash their full potential on the basketball court. So glad to hear that you learned a lot & that this vid taught you a lot! That’s amazing…It’s my absolute pleasure bro, Keep Grinding & hope you have a Happy Easter 🙏🏿
I’ve been taught to be a center my whole life even though im not that tall (6’1) im really trying to make it to play semi professional but i know i would be a G if i play in the next level what can i do to be less stiff more shifty and make that transition from a center to a guard
That's tough to hear that you've been taught to be a Center at 6'1. So two questions, are you light on your feet? Or are you bigger in weight? Im only asking so that I can give you the best advice. It's definitely possible to play at the next level though, just gotta plan everything strategically
You need to be pressed when you’re 16 playing High School Varsity Basketball. Not when your an 8 year old boy playing in a Rec league basketball game. The kid will most likely end up hating the sport and quit. It’s important to know the difference my man 🦁
Thanks for this video man. As a parent of a new basketball player I have to tell myself that hes just a kid and wants to have fun. He doesnt need me to coach him he needs me to support him.
You’re very welcome! & Absolutely. You can still coach em, but just do it in a way where they don’t feel too much pressure or negativity. Encouragement is the best solution, especially for today’s generation!
@@AsiamahAcademy thanks! Trying to be a shooting guard. But , a team wants/needs a PG. I feel the best way to get in shape for basketball is actually playing . Sprints/weight room are supplemental. But, are important and should not be slacked on .
@@JJ7_athletics absolutely. It all goes hand in hand. Definitely gotta keep playing to learn things in real time, but you also gotta get those sprints in for the 4th quarter & overtime when your team needs a bucket. & gotta be in the weight room so that you’ll be able to play physical & be unfazed when your driving the ball to the basket 💯
