Years ago I was told by a person who owned a hair replacement studio that Jack Lord of Hawaiian Five-O wore a lace-front hairpiece. Nowadays id say that Ben Affleck and Sylvester Stallone wear among the best pieces, although IMO Stallone's is a bit too dense for a man of his age. His piece is also combed straight back, even in public with people close to him, which is pretty brave!
1st two 007 pics Connery wasn't wearing hair. It was thinning and they most likely used a filler, something similar to Topik. I thought his wings were terrible and hated wearing then. Kevin James I believe hair transplant . Just a tad pluggy at the hairline.
Depending on the base. A poly base yes, but on the really thin skin you might run into the issue it sticks to itself because its so light and flexible. Lace systems I would not suggest it.
Hair system is the most unnatural solution for hair loss. Don't buy the hype. They look great when they're first installed by a professional. But you will only look great about .0001% of the time. The rest of the time you will have to deal with a million problems. Glue, itch, claning, positioning, removal, reinstall, styling, reattach, vendor's poor customer service, inconsistencies with every unit that you buy. It's just a fucking nightmare. Every time you engage in a sport or any physical activity (swimming) you're taking a huge huge huge risk that the glue won't hold up. Do not believe what these vendors say. Your cover will be blown. Hair systems are a nightmare but they may only be the only solution to your baldness.
JT sorry for your bad experience!...Yes there can be lots of problems, without the proper training and tools, over selling the dream of having hair can be problematic with a hair system. They are not for everyone, just like going to the gym to acquire a great body, for some it's not worth it. Hair systems require commitment and is the only way you will get a full head of hair in a couple of hours. Thanks for watching my videos!
Good information. Thanks. I've seen some men that choose a super thick density and it just looks terrible. Of course so does a middle aged man wearing a jet black hair piece. If it doesn't look real why bother?
I don't know anything about this channel or this host...but as soon as I looked at the screen, his hair screamed, 'rug' to me. Someone calling themselves "hair loss consultant', should have more sense than to wear something that is so obviously fake. Hopefully this was just a 'bad hair day' for him. Otherwise, I suggest taking advice from someone who is oblivious.
The hair replacement person in NYC insisting I go tape vs glue. Stated if I work out a lot and sweat a lot glue won't last long and cause me a lot of discomfort. Let's see if she's right or wrong. Regardless, I'm committed to finding a solution that works for me
Hey sorry for the slow reply...🙏...From my 30 yrs experience, it sounds like adhesive, like Ghost Bond, is probably going to work best for you. The problem with tape in sweaty situations, is that when tape gets wet, it don't adhere anymore....where is might get gooey, but at least adhesive has some stick, until you cool down or able to change or touch up the adhesive....good luck.....thanks for the good question!
@@hairlossconsultant6505I've been doing sauna heavy boxing sparing running basically anything in tape and never even once had a feeling it starts to loosen. On the other hand I have enormous problems with itching
Thanks for the review, but I do have 31k views...and your 3 videos combined have about 160 views... I believe I'm kickin your ass! ♥️✌️keep hustling, good luck and one day you might be at 200 views 👍
I recently got a system that has scalloped hairline. And I need to make a template for it ( I learned how to in videos) But two things I'm not sure of. Being it has a scalloped hairline, I obviously don't have to trim the extra piece your video shows simply because there is no extra piece. All well understood. But regards to the base I'll have. Do I put the very front of the base along the hairline? This is what I'm confused with. I don't want to mess up this, my first one. Thanks. I'm anxious to get this started as I have someone lined up to cut it in.
Elton John had implants years ago. Have those hairs started to fall out? Is he wearing a wearing a system/wig? Whatever you guys do, keep doing it! If you don't like something about yourself change it. We women have been doing it for centuries.
I use rubbing àlcahal.on a cotton ball. I only have a frontal a one inch by 5inch . Was six inch. I was a hairdresser for years. and I know how to handle the base carefully. But I never had a base this thin.
Thanks for checking out my channel!....if you soak the system warm water and Dawn dish soap for about 10 mins, this will make it easier for the adhesive to come off the base...sometimes you need to do this twice.....Best of luck!
What would you recommend for weft extensions? I use pro salons latex and I’ve also used liquid gold but that stuff is harder to get hold of. I find tape stays in the hair and matts at the root and the extensions slide out. I do like pro salons latex but again the hair comes out after one wash. Would ghost bond work? Thanks!
Your hairline is way too straight and dense compared to the sparseness of your eyebrows. As people age hair colour also loses its vibrancy and saturation so it also looks strange for someone your age with aged skin to have the hair quality of someone that’s in the 20’s.
