Plastic plugs in unused orifices led to call-outs on two separate occasions due to water spraying out of the plugs. 🙄 Prior to this, Ravenheat were good with their warranty, they changed pretty much every component on my boiler. Now struggling with code E41 which relates to flow and return temperatures being too far apart, potentially some blockage in the pipework. Is anyone familiar with this? Maybe it's time to replace it after just 5 years. The wife has fallen out with it 😢
Hi. Most plumbers jump to either a plate heat exchanger, diverter valve, or a thermistor, l hope I've spelt that right, we had hot then lukewarm water and boiler shutting down, it turned out to be a faulty cartridge in a bar mixer shower, isolate mixer taps taps and showers one set at a time and see if you get hot water again, when you do you will have found your pasding cartridge, worth a thought.
Hi ...looking for parts for Ravenheat csi without timer. No hot water, radiators working fine. Boiler only firing up for heating but not for hot water only.
Hello, I have this boiler model RSF 25/25E I need your help please I am in Saudi Arabia the boiler now is making on and off the flame 🔥 even the small one is constant the big flame is on and off very fast not stable the fan working the pump working too and gas pressure good too. Can you please advise me Thank you.
So glad I watched this.. I had our boiler apart 3 times trying to figure out why the hot water wasn't working. Had replaced the mixer, the diaphragm and was about to replace the diverter.. Turned out it was the thermostat in the upstairs shower was making its own circuit between the cold and hot !!
Cheers for that really helped! You got any good videos on FGA readings and what is acceptable or not; especially difference between older and newer boilers! Ta
I've had my HE85 for 11 years now. It's broken so many times (darn those capacitors on the fan control board). However, over the years it's become a labour of love. I know everything about it, all the ins and outs. These videos really are the cherry on the cake for me. Thanks John!
I love the look of the compact BUT I cannot find a supplier or fitter in Monmouthshire. I have tried to contact Ravenheat direct with no success. Any ideas
Sorry about that Tony . It’s so difficult to get merchants to engage. Not capable of selling to merchants only Gas Engineers and Plumbers 😢 It’s very frustrating.
Why aren't famous Leeds plumbers Allen Hart and Michael Goodall pushing your superior boiler, designed and manufactured in their home city? Their social media channels have been quiet recently on your boilers. If I were you, I'd want to find out what's going on with them, you should address any concerns they have got. Because customers are going to be wondering if there is something you are not telling them. Ravenheat is superior to Viessmann because they use copper pipes, not rubber hoses. Ravenheat are superior to Worcester because they use a brass not composite plastic hydroblock. Ravenheat's single pass stainless steel heat exchanger is equal to Viessmann's. The electronics are located in a plastic unit, protected from any leaking water. So what is not to like? What I have not heard about is the reliability of the electronics and ease of fault finding. I haven't heard about the secondary plate heat exchanger either but I am assuming their waterways are no narrower than other brands.
Thanks for the post 👍 As you can clearly see the boilers are quality. Michael Goodall fits plenty of Ravenheat Boilers. And Allen Hart also has fitted a few in the past . I honestly think it’s down to public awareness? At Ravenheat we are a bunch of engineers with a vision to manufacturer quality boilers at a competitive price. But our marketing is dreadful 😢
@@johnwilson2778 Hopefully not: Ravenheat will be discovered & bought out by some large competitor & all that passion, commitment & love for honest perfection will all be reduced to shite' like everything else in this Capitalist era of vile. Keep up the excellent work guys ( @Ravenheat ) , we need you more than you know.
