Dyke is the name of Dick Van Dyke, one of the greatest artists in the world, so whoever uses that word or the F word can stick their fingers where it hurts. I’m neither American nor gay, but I’d rather stand with the homosexuals of the world than let these pigs poison it
I read: Since 2016...wtf since 2016🧐 that means since 5 years there is the first gay club in a School and they get backlash from the administration... Keep up the GOOD work, stay strong! There is still a long way to go but keep fighting 💪🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈
Wow. Good for all of you for being so brave. It's disgusting to think you and were and are treated that way. You will slowly pave the way tho for change and know you are not alone. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤
Makes me realize how lucky my school is, i’m not personally LGBT but my school has a GSA, gender neutral bathrooms + pe locker room, and a whole lot of pride flags all over (gay, trans, bi mostly). The teachers are really supportive, some students use slurs but in the end, basically all of them don’t actually care and just use it because it’s such common slang now, plus most students are pretty understanding of it. Kids can go around with pride flags in their bags and no one says anything. Sad it’s not like that for every school, but we’re getting somewhere in some places.
This was an amazing film, I'm gay and transgender. I sent it to my boyfriend to watch, also my best friends who are lesbian. I'm gonna pass it on, because we need hope. This gives us hope.
OMG I'M IN TEARS! THIS WAS SO INSPIRING! I'm going to show this to the gay straight alliance at my school to inspire them! We are one of the few clubs who don't show up on the day you meet all your teachers, sign up for clubs, and most importantly meet a few of the others who will be in the club. Our table is always empty. I'm tired of seeing it empty. We need to show that we belong! We are NOT outcasts! We. Are. Human. We sometimes make mistakes. Like everyone who people call "normal"! Well let me tell you this. There is no such thing as "normal"! We are all strange in some way! Let your inner self SHINE THROUGH!
I wish we had a club like that at my school but it was incognito for people to not have to let the whole school know cuz there are too many people who are incredibly homophobic at my school. It’s literally Dean from everybody’s talking about Jamie but Dean is every strait boy at school I feel afraid to come out and I wish that I could feel safe enough to do so. It’s definitely not as bad as the southern states in America but Britain is bad too.
Have a story no one asked for... The public school I went to before homeschool, was swarming with LGBT ppl and allies. It was great and I was called my true name and never heard my dead name at school (unless the person didn't know). Now that I'm homeschooled, I am surrounded my homophobic and transphobic family and bow I hear my dead name all the time. I created a group chat on discord an messenger for the LGBTQ+ comm. Called "Queer Crew" there, no deadnames are used, no slurs, no harassment (obviously) and it's amazing :>
This is beautiful. I set up and ran the first official GSA at my school for two years. No matter where you go, some people won’t like you and it’s important to have safe spaces like this and a positive outlook.
this really made my day and i’ve been wanting to feel like myself but i feel like people would judge me, and call me names, but the truth is that i don’t know the real me that much anymore, but i’m gonna try to find me because of this video ❤️❤️
I think homosexual people help prevent overpopulation by adopting kids. They're basically a better way to avoid overpopulation. If you're religious: It's a way God has created to stop overpopulation instead of giving some of us diseases and allergy like allergy to water or very rare diseases.
My school has it's own GSA club in it (I joined after coming out) I was very fortunate to be in a very accepting school No joke and I'm not even exaggerating, 1/3 of the couples you see in the halls are queer and I've luckily have yet to see any true homophobia
Those young people are inspiring in standing up for their rights and equality. Good luck to them and may gay clubs in educational institutions thrive everywhere.
When I was in middle school (when I came out) nobody knew where the bathroom even is to try to bully me and in high school we were the same people that was in middle school so yeah !
Wait they really, 7:40 y’all can’t be doing that shit. We have our own history to write don’t compare yourself to the Little Rock nine. At the end of the day each one of those students faced more discrimination than any lgbt person of this generation ever will, and that’s coming from someone in the community.
