Yall will surely earn whatever you get out of them. The old sawyer/logger had a IH tandem truck. Heavy built gas job with a 5x4 and big rears. Had one load that was 3 poplars. How he loaded them I have no idea. Had an old D-4 with a winch. Unless he used a jin pole with a pulley block on the end and the winch rope. But 3 logs was IT! Had to be close to 5 feet through. Your peavey handles will be warm and thin after this job! Blessings to yall

This is one unhappy, ugly and uncooperative stop sign in the making, and is going to fight you tooth and nail to the bitter end. A real naughty knotty pine. Wonder what you are going to do with the end product .
As a kid,55-60 years ago I remember those type of trees on My Grand Mother’s property and I climbed a couple 50-70 feet in the air.I remember the trees swaying in the wind and being so excited to be able to sway with the tree ! Then when I got older and realized that I was sort of crazy at that age to just climb and hang on I was happy for doing it,but resolved to NEVER do it again !
Unfortunately much of it is storm fall from this winter and we simply don’t have time to saw it all. Lots blue staining already. Just the nature of it here and us being a hobby salvage mill. Thanks for watching, lots of gorgeous pine always coming in.
I got to tell you Troy the tree cat I have seen a lot of logs in my day But that is one of the most beautiful logs I seen. I could saw logs like that all day long nice work Boys👍🌲🌲🌲🌲
I've seen lots of dirt and rock taken off with the bark with axes. Saves saw filings. NICE overalls too! And if you start cussing you'[ll not hear anything from me any more. I've got a grandson that sneaks in anhd watches what I watch and he don't need to hear that mess no more than I do. And WON'T. Fore warned! Blessings!
