I’m a Chevrolet guy but these new little turbo 4 cylinders y’all are putting in every thing are shit I think 3800 series is one of the best 6 cylinder engine y’all put in a car yeah they leak but they run forever I liked the 2200 series besides timing chain guides they were pretty good motors under powered but would get you anywhere 5.7 were good you know 350 early 5.3 and 6.0 were good piston rings always kill old 5.3 and it’s not just gm going downhill every car manufacturer is they don’t build cars to last anymore

Yea you can: 1) Get the balance needed to pay off the total past due and all other fees associated with it such as late fees, etc. Borrow it or whatever. Keep in mind you have 21 days usually, depending on what state you are in, to do this before the car goes to auction. It’s almost like a grace period before the repossession is actually finalized 2) knowing all of this, have the money that you need, and call the collections department of your loan servicing company. They may ask you “why did you fall behind” simplytell them that you fell behind because you were in between jobs, etc. They will not push that fact. You will then make the payment and once it’s processed on their end, they will reinstate your loan. My advice would be to push your due date to the end of the month and ask for a two month forbearance so you can get back on your feet if needed. car loan companies have this option where you have up to two months forbearance. Throughout the life of the loan where they simply just add that to the back of the loan payment. This will give you some “breathing room” so you can get in a situation where this doesn’t happen again. Once you pay it over the phone, simultaneously or moments after, your loan will then be “reinstated”. That reinstatement number will be sent to the garage that’s holding your vehicle updating them that the car is paid for and owner shall be picking it up. Some car garages will ask for a timeframe or scheduling process which is usually 24 hours, but usually they will just have you come in whenever. 3) go to the garage that they tell you your car is being held, usually you would have to pay them close to 200 bucks maybe a little bit less for the housing, and hook up, etc. Shouldn’t be no more than 250 bucks altogether. Once that’s done, they simply collect your payment at the desk and give you your key. It is up to you to drive back. If the car does not have insurance or isn’t registered, have somebody with their insurance with you. they may have to drive your car or just follow them back home.
The best way to do this, is to only buy second hand cars, which you can afford for cash. The vehicles this way might not be as good as buying one on finance, but make sure that the vehicle that you are buying, does not have any finance owing on it. There is a company in Britain, which will buy a car with Finance owing on it, but they will not offer as much, as when they buy a vehicle without financing.
😂 of coarse you don't get money back, you're paying less because you have paid for some of the car in cash. Side note you'll pay far less interest as well if you put money up front. Remember kids a lease is just debt
She's absolutely right about not reporting that car in bankruptcy on your credit report. So, in essence, you're not obligated to pay on it anymore and don't have to do a trade-in. You can simply walk away from it. Called your lender tell you don't want the car anymore and come get it. Wait til after your case has been discharged. Go get what you want. Believe me, you look way more attractive to a lender after filing than you did before filing. Why? They know you can't file again for another 8 years, and your debt to income ratio is 0 because you no longer have any debt. As long as you have a stable job and verify income. You can and will get approved for a loan again. I know I've seen my uncle do all this. I'm telling you. 6 mos to a year, 2 new cars, and a mortgage loan.
