Dr. Israr Ahmad (1932-2010) was a prominent Pakistani Islamic scholar, theologian, and orator known for his profound knowledge of the Quran and his efforts to promote Islamic teachings. He was born on April 26, 1932, in Hapur, British India (now in Uttar Pradesh, India), and later migrated to Pakistan after the partition in 1947.

Dr. Israr Ahmad pursued his education in medicine and earned a medical degree from King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan. However, his true passion lay in Islamic studies and the interpretation of the Quran. He delved into extensive research, studying various religious texts, and became well-versed in classical Islamic disciplines, including Tafsir (Quranic exegesis), Hadith (Prophetic traditions), and Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence).
