Hello, I'd like to know if I can safely cold infuse an oil with fresh ginger root, chili powder and dried whole chilis for the purpose of making a salve for low back and joint pain. Can I wash and dry the ginger root and chili's very well and then use them?. I want to clean them, but I'm concerned about any moisture being in the infusion.
