I reckon it's difficult to 100% accurately translate from asian languages to English, especially when poetry/lyricism is involved. What's off about the lyrics?
what the other guy said, they also change the order in which some phrases are shown because of how the different languages work... Like, Sou kimi to kono michi de - Deatte kara it was translated, keeping the meaning, to: Yes, ever since i met you - In this road. the "deatte kara" was actually the "ever since i met you", but they swapped with the road part to sound more natural.... the final meaning is the same, but it can look weird if you just look part-by-part
Just noticed from the intro to the chorus changed the accents from a 3/4 vibe ( *1* 2 *3* 4 *5* 6) to 6/8 vibe ( *1* 2 3 *4* 5 6) without changing the tempo. Basically change where the emphasis are, so it sounds "loosen up" or more relaxed when the chorus dropped. The song feels slower due to the time between each accent is elongated. idk if that's a good explanation, but it's so cool what songs back then do to make us feel things.
After watching the Rurouni Kenshin remake, I thought no greater injustice could be done than the removal of the original opening. Then along comes the Spice & Wolf remake.
sadly a few grammatical errors in the german parts, for example when he says "Wir sind die Jäger" a few times in a row its "die Jäger" instead of "der Jäger" (die in that case means plural and der singular)

The new op for the reboot sounds too new age and studio made while this one sounds like something a band would in the universe of the anime. That's why this one is way better and should've been reused for the reboot
