@@CHRGITUP sweet thank you for the reply brotha! I’m assuming an extra small for the passenger seat then. I appreciate all of the videos that you put out! Keep up the great work!
Worth noting that the 2006-2007 Yamaha R6 service manual says to bleed the front brake master cylinder before AND after doing the front brake calipers.
that's just weird... air moves upwards. If there is any air in the system it would go right back to the master and sit in the lines. Things get rewritten for a bunch of reasons.
@@CHRGITUP sorry as english is not my language. what i mean is that when the bike isnt running, the battery isnt being charger, therefore its draining..?
If you keep it on and don't turn off the charger then yes, it 100% will drain the battery, however, you can either get the "auto" switch which automatically shuts down the wireless charger once it notices the bike is no longer running, or.. you can easily just pus the "power" button under the charging pad which turns off the charger as well. Two ways or making sure it doe not drain your battery. There is a third way, but that's by getting a battery with a jump start feature built into it. I will prob do a video on this type of battery in the future.
@@CHRGITUP oh I understand now. Thanks. BTW man, I also have a 23 r1 but I don't have as much space as you do near the battery. What did you remove?? I know you talk about it in the video but what is it exactly?
@Excelsus95 I removed the servo motor for the EX-Up system for the stock Exhaust. I show the process in the video where I install the full Exhaust system.
The black wire that could reach the front you have over the silver bracket then tucked in more or less the same place kind would of unplugged that and tucked on bracket so when your seats on it won’t rest on the wire
@@CHRGITUP Yeah. I have an android and it has an option to turn off "Fast Wireless Charging" and having it off works and charges but slow. When fast charging is on, it does what I mentioned above 🤷♂️
can you send me the link to where you purchased this exhaust? all the ones i found the logo looks different and it’s yellow unlike your hindle logo, i like the grey hindle logo better. TIA
Also did a video of some options to remove the pin if it's being annoying or broken. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NdJesuEie8Y.htmlsi=KLCHeE1jVrQus0Z5
glow in the dark stickers need to be "charged" by UV light for substantial time - meaning you need the bike to be outside all day -> then they glow at night
I'm not sure that it would tbh, the part number is completely different which mean there was some internal/external changes. If you have the owners manual it should tell you in there though.
I did a couple of YT short video's on it. Once I have able to start posting video's again I will definitely do one! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-N-ROT1oeFsw.html
🤙😎! They not only look great, they actually work really well! I did this video on them, but I'm not sure they are available from the same place anymore. I think Amazon might have similar ones available, but they were hard to procure. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PmtPd4JpkoA.html
I've been looking at way to make that seat better... the only thing I can think of, which I still might do... is making a modification where the cousion part flows over the sides and somehow sits on the fender flairs, as in takes up that entire space for someone to sit, but using the original mounted seat. It's such a terrible design but I guess the "passenger" seat was an afterthought.
Hey, the lift is from K&L Tool supply from California. I don't have a video on it but I should make one, I have had a couple of questions about it now. This is a hydraulic lift, with electric power so no air is required.
Sorry to tell you that you are incorrect. 2017-2020 is the same process just like 2006-2016 was. As per the service manual... 1. Stand the vehicle on a level surface "Tip" - Place the vehicle on a suitable stand so that the rear wheel is elevated. (This means NOT on the kickstand) 2. Shift the transmission into the neutral position. 3. Check: etc.... Anyway you do you...
@@CHRGITUP the owner manual that I have I got it from the internet, supposedly is for the 2017 yamaha r6. Do you know where can I see right owner's manual?
Honestly you may have the correct manual sometimes the manufacturer uses the same manuals for different bikes. I have the original owners manual on hand. It's weird Step 1. Place the motorcycle on the side-stand. Then the "Tip" portion it states "when checking and adjusting, there should be no weight on the motorcycle " 😆 makes no sense, however, this is really to just check the slack. Adjusting it the rear wheel should be off the ground. The part # for the original owners manual is BN6-28199-73, see if the one off the internet has a number listed somewhere. I personally go by either the service manual or what I have been taught over the years.
@@CHRGITUPIt’s not adequate to plug the 12v version directly to the battery, it’ll drain it, you need to connect it to an auxiliary connection that only works with ignition on
@@CHRGITUP if it was wireless you would need a charging cable . I can do that for way less money with a iPhone charger and battery tender usb . Don’t make it to be what it ain’t .?
Thanks for all the detail mate. I've owned a QuadLock mount for months and I love it but on longer trips Google Maps is draining my phone. I've ordered all the parts now to switch up to the same set up as you. Excited to get it running and have unlimited power on my phone. Thanks.
Glad it helped! I did a random "trip home" video where I did like a quick update on the charging of the wireless charger. At the end I talk about how long the ride was and how much battery % was charged WHILE using maps.
@@CHRGITUP Thanks mate. I checked that out. Good results. Can't complain about the charge going up while in use. Perfect. Mine arrived yesterday so I might install over the weekend.
I need to replace the cluster case because it is damaged (only the case), by removing the front cowling do I have full access to the cluster to replace its case? If not I will just send it to the shop so they do it for me. Thanks
Not to sure tbh, I think so since the front cowling would be entirely off. Pause the video and see if you can spot if the cluster would be removable. This might go on my video list for the future.
Just wanted to ask what are the specs of those bolts for those rear pegs because i recently ordered Rear pegs for my Track edition R6 and they did not come with the bolts so i gotta get some. Pls Answer I got a date w a potential Backpack coming up lol
Good video man , I think is ok if that switch put in the rear seat...my opinion ( because u have motorcycle key and just open rear seat and turn on when need. I make this like so for my R7 now . Thanks for sharing and RIDE SAFE MAN !!! 😍 Love from Austria
Most bikes DO NOT have a key for the seat, however, a lot of them do. Mine does not have a key for the front seat, only the rear, BUT the rear key seat doesn't work with the solo seat cowling. Thanks for the comment! 🤙🏍️
Hello sir, hope I didn't find you too late. I recently just got an R6 2018 and it's currently showing the coolant temp in F, is there a way to change it to C as it is available on the dash, just doesnt know how. Greatly appreciated and had been enjoying your content on the R6 so far, really helpful especially for someone who's owning R6 for the first time.
Hey, yeah... I believe the only way to do so is to change the entire function of the cluster from MPH to KPH, when you have KPH "Canadian" it shows it in C and not F.
It's doable! I looked into the manual a bit more. You have to do it while in "DIAGNOSTIC mode" and change the values. A dealer should be able to do it with their diag tool.
Oh yeah, it will obviously not allow you to get your chest onto the tank, however, you can still get low enough behind the windshield with the middle bag on, the large one not so much.
