Ended up "accidentally" soloing him with a great shield and a rot infused pokey sword, after practicing being summoned and managing not to die on several goes. I say accident, cause I tried to summon for me, didn't brain and went strait in only for it error out, so no back up... surprisingly was almost "easy" compared to my first several goes with dual great katanas haha dodging him is exhausting.
@protodg6567 Phase 2 is definitely where it gets challenging. Running from the circle of death helps. 🤣. Didn't realize the first number of times it was a ring until he teleported away from me to do it to a random multiple tries later.
ng 3+ here I uninstalled the game and deleted all progress. He always kills me with one punch. I have attack power 35 and it's unplayable. I don't understand why I spent so much time on this stupid game
@@merrillmayhemgaming after a day and a half I have finally defeated Genichiro, I was able to complete the first phase with no harm then second phase took me 1 heal and the final phase I used fire crackers and Double Ichimonji spam😂😂
There is no real cheese for this boss this game requires skill either learn his moves or die I love games like this souls gamers need not apply block or die its awesome learn timing & moveset it will bring out the best gamer inside u cheese methods suck git gud! BIG THUMBS UP ON VIDEO!👍

Lmao there's an insanely easy way to cheese Owl. Here's how : Always stay in close range to him and don't let him get into his combos. Now, hit him once and only once. If it damages him, hit him again immediately. If he makes distance with you, he'll do his sword slash or shiruken throw + Downward slash. Its easy to evade/counter. Again, immediately make close distance to him. Hit him only once, and he should deflect it. He then does a very easily parriable single slash, parry it. Immediately do another attack, he'll deflect it and again he'll do one slash. You deflect it. Again, attack him once. You attack, he deflects. He attacks, you deflect. This puts you in a long loop of exchanging single blows and its insanely easy to parry. Watch his deflect meter slowly fill and then boom, deathblow
FightinCowboy has a good series that walks through the game well. I used it to find a path I originally missed. I ended up somewhere WAAAYYYY to early too. 😂 Helps to go back and find the additional gourds.
😂 never have been good at the delayed punching in this game. Legends pull back for 5 seconds before punching forward. At least, that's what it feels like. 😂
