I love that Miley went through her “wild” phase only to come out blossoming into the artist that she really wanted to be. It really fits! Most of all, I have seen her character as a respectful and humble person when she gives reverence and acknowledgment to the other artists that inspired her.
Can we talk about how Miley was reading the lyrics from a prompt though? Like, how do you not know the song you're doing with someone else. Especially when that song is sang and written from your duo LOL I can't rn
This performance is off the charts!! So inspiring. They are both so talented. I’m in tears, legit. I needed something to keep me going. Lyrics anyone? 💜
I saw her opening up for Pink at Chase Field. Go Diamondbacks!!! And I love Pink, ever since she opened up for Timberlake and Timberland was the in between act before he went on stage. I was shocked how good she was but watching her now with Miley, she was so fake about what she said in AZ and how she had never been in a stadium before. Sorry not a fan of Brandi anymore. You have to have hope and faith in everyone, no matter what. No one should ever manufacture that.
What are you even talking about? This performance wasn't in a stadium, it was a New Years' gig. When she said that about playing arenas in Arizona, she meant that the tour of Pink's where she was opening for her in big stadiums is the first time she's played in front of such large crowds -- that whole series of shows. Otherwise she's played in venues that weren't stadiums. She didn't lie or fake anything. She's one of the most genuine people on the planet. If you want to deprive yourself of her music for some petty point, that seems extreme.
Brandi playing left-handed?! Miley nails the low notes. BTW - The Story was actually written by Phil Hanseroth before he and his brother became Brandi's band.
