Hey do you have any tips for finding off-campus housing? I am an incoming graduate student and I've been having trouble finding an affordable place to live.
Hi this super random but what were your stats to get into Pitt, it’s my dream school and I applied for nursing and I know it’s super competitive. Anyway, if you don’t want to share that’s ok too
Those letters are so much more annoying to put on when you’re doing IVF cycles and how many eggs you got, how many embryos, embryos that would be able to be implanted, embryos that may end up as normal babies…💙💗🌈🤰 Was watching this for a young cousin starting at Pitt but I have that same letter board for my trying to conceive journey after 2 miscarriages and damn that’s painful…. Ahh to be a kid again Oh also Pitt 2009 I’m old 😭😭😭
I just applied to Pitt and I’m hopefully going to be apart of the 28’ class. I find these videos to be very helpful I liked the lothrop hall video and the video on freshman move in! Very helpful videos!
it's so relieving to know that someone has a similar major to me because i felt like i didn't fit in with pitt cause it was known for being a stem school. im on the digital media track instead though. loved the vid !!!!
hey i'm gonna be living in lothrop next year and i was just wondering ab how the fitness center is. are there weight/strength-training machines? is it a good gym?
Honestly probably Sutherland its on upper campus so it's kind of a hike but the dorms are bigger than towers and they're mainly suites so you get your own bathroom but it's shared with the other people in your suite
This vlog was super helpful! I’m living in Lothrop next year and was so curious how it was. The showers lowkey looked nice, did you buy that rack for your tv or was it already there?
Does your single in Lothrop feel small? Do you miss not having a roommate? Are people open to new friendships while living in singles? How are the bathrooms?
it depends like sometimes it feels small compared to when you’d have a roommate but most of the time i don’t mind it bc it’s all my space like i’m not sharing it with anyone. and sometimes i do miss having a roommate just for the social aspect. i feel like lothrop is very quiet like i’ve met one girl on my floor and that’s it no one really talks to each other much but it might be different for the freshmen idk. bathrooms aren’t really bad the showers are fine since its communal
I don't know why I looked up Lothrop Move In Vlog when I literally live here, but it was cool seeing someone else's experience of moving in here, especially since it was posted so recently so we've probably been on the elevator at the same time or something, lol. Great video!
That is so funny ! So much of the room is the same as when I went here, which was from '75-'79, so AGES ago ! Same dressers, same desks, the only thing is, there were built-in bolsters along the wall with padded fronts, and th e single beds slipped under them, sticking out enough to create kind of "sofa" against the padded bolsters as the back. The desks were along the wall on each side, at the windows, each facing the wall so your back would be to the other person. The dressers were together between the windows. Everything else is pretty much the same. I like how they painted the hallways tho ! We had just plaid, drab off-white halls.
