@@alantaylor353 Thanks dude. The 1st problem i have was the shocks were leaking oil, so I replaced them. The 2nd issue was the motor blow up after a couple of hours, could have just been unlucky with that one. The ball joints are all plastic, which mans no rust if using in water but will probably wear down after a while. I’ve just bought another one, chassis only to put my Traxxas clipless F150 and K10 shells on. I would say for the money they are worth it. You could get 2 for the price of the TRX4. Or 4 chassis only as they are £120 on ail right now.
Thanks, its not on my TRX4 anymore. Mounting it was easy, i used the existing mounts for the Land Rover body as they are similar shape, then used some spacers to raise the skid plates up. If i had known when cutting the body out I would have left the sides on the jeep body longer.
Thanks dude. No not mine, I’m just lucky to guess, some are local and others are places I found when out on the MTB. I make a note and If i can go back with the crawler I will.
Hi, thanks, yep completely agree. The body’s are so nice which is why I decided to convert my defender. It look more scale this way, not weird high it’s big wheels. I’ve just taken it out today for a 1st trail run, very little body rub and it looks amazing. Vid should be up soon.
