13:30 this is why every time i play nocturne, i waste 2 hours before the matador fight going around Yoyogi park on auto battle while watching a movie on the other monitor... last time i left with 93 chakra drops & 62 revival beads
how is not deleting demons a challange. i almost never delete demons in any smt game. i believe i have only deleted personas and no demons in any game for now
What always bugged me (no I'm not making a pun, sorry) was, if the magatama is removed, he's just a normal human again right? His abilities and all are gone? Yes he's a DEMI-fiend, but it makes me look at his power as just temporary or contingent on something, not him becoming a new being.
I've been trudging through YHVH funhouse for almost 3 days and let me tell you, my hate for whoever designed that dungeon is beyond comprehension. My god what an absolute shitshow.
I have a suggestion, I was playing smt 2 and I noticed you had to grind levels way more than smt 1 since you would level up just by fighting bosses especially in the endgame in the tower, could you make a smt 2 without "grinding"? Or just the obligatory bosses or something
…The beginning is HIGHLY suspicious. This is a different challenge run so things are not 1-1, but the script feels VERY similar to Nyarly’s no buffs run script in the beginning. You were binging other challenge runs while making this didn’t you?
Hi, Megido! I love the run. Quick question: judging from the the party members' mantra lines, what Kind of roles did you find them in battle and did they learn any passives that greatly aided those roles? Since you were able to branch out, are there like potential secondary roles that they could fulfill?
Do smt fans always have to do the same "uhhhh I can't say the name of THAT skill" joke whenever sol niger comes up. It's pronounced the same way the country Niger is pronounced, its so tiring how often i have to hear people make this joke when its not even funny
Playing with recruitment demons is still easier, than doing it solo AND on Cronicles. Also, magic can pierce in that version (not present on Steam version, but can be fixed with a mod), and Lucifer removes your buffs with Root of Evil and uses Diarahan, instead of Diarama, which makes the fight a lot harder and RNG based. Despite people saying, that the level doesn't matter in this game, it actually does, but counting per 10 levels at a time. Being level 255 will make you dodge all the attacks significantly more, while reducing the accuracy of the basic attack. Which is very important for the TDE-related bosses. While it also does decrease the strengh of magic, it doesn't do the same for Wind Cutter and Magma Axis (but it is a much weaker spell). It also boosts the physical attack damage considerably, but using Iron Claw and other lower accuracy moves will make you miss a lot without accuracy buffs and debuffs. Single hit moves are king, as damage reduction on multihit ones is way too big (around 50%).
My only problem with the video is the audio volume balance. Some meme clips you got there are super loud compared to your mic. You should either try to raise your mic volume on editing or lower everything else. Apart from that, the video is great! Love the content.
I hate being that person but it's genuinely bothering me: Hamaon (HamA-On), not Hamoan. That being said, I didn't even know this game existed and it looks really cool. Fun challenge run, good job.
33:11 I'm sure most people are aware of this, but for anyone seeing this: her alt name in myth is Eset! The moba game smite (which I unfortunately play lmfao), changed her name to this, after streamers/content creators unfortunately were having issues with monetization, for obvious reasons lol.
Always nice to see a new DDS video i gotta say it's rather ironic how there is a demon weak to poison despite it's name meaning Poison of God also fun fact about the Demi-Fiend/Hitoshura i'm not sure if you've seen this BUT he can be inflicted with Hunger BUT that's only if cheat codes are used to "Get all skills" i put it like that because there's probably one or two skills missing i admit i have done it before for fun
Haven’t watched the whole vid yet so maybe you adress it later, but omoikane always has a random elemental weakness each battle. The best strat for killing them is to analyse them to see their weakness and then use a spell of that element. In encounters with multiple omoikane, they each have a random weakness, so they won’t all be weak to ice, but one to ice, one to earth etc. In a challenge run like this it becomes slightly more difficult as you wouldn’t have all five elements in your party at once and attack items just aren’t as good as spells; with a little luck you could get some nice rewards. As far as i recall this is also how it works in the sequel. Again sorry if this gets adressed later, but my goldfish memory just won’t remember to post this after i’ve watched the whole video.
🎶This is the story all about how my build got flipped turned upside down So I’d like to take a moment just sit down viewer I’ll tell you how I became a god inside the devils’ demon crawling sewer 🎶
You made it harder on yourself playing the chronicles edition on the Lucifer fight. The maniax edition Lucifer is a bit easier, as they removed his ability to cast diarahan.
Robin: "there is no way to get through this fight with more then one unit without demon form affecting the fight" Megido: "And since Hunger wave makes it so we cant attack we cant do damage" both: "and with that statement lies the answer"
No fucking way bro! Just binge watched 3/4 of your videos and now you upload one of my favourite games!! Keep up the good work my guy! Love ur humor and the way you explain the games you play
So… micro nova can help in early battle with multiple opponents, it’s a combo for three turns, but can make most teams capable of one shots if specked well, I just wanted to let you know as it replaces heat’s agi with Gale’s Zan in DDS 2 and is actually slightly more powerful to justify three turns
