I love the freedom of hand drawing and the feeling of being able to create something out of nothing. But I also know that in order to work faster, be more efficient with my time, and unleash even more creativity, I need to make the transition to a digital workflow.
That's why I created this channel: to share my tips and techniques for iPad drawing tutorials for architects, interior designers, and landscape architects who want to make the shift from hand-drawn sketches to digital drawings.

Hi Henry, Thanks for the explanation. I’m considering whether to buy an iOS or Windows tablet, as I'm currently studying architecture and a bit unsure. I’m confused about which one to choose because I’m not sure if AutoCAD will run on an iPad. Could you let me know if it’s compatible? Also, I'd appreciate your suggestion on which device you'd recommend, given that I’m an architecture student. Thanks!
hey, what would you suggest between ipad air 128gb 13’’ & galaxy s9 fe plus? i’m a architecture student have a good laptop too my main motive is for sketchup and notes taking. im pretty confused since samsung have almost same or even better features but i doubt if it’ll take the load of softwares while rendering and stuff. also, its easy to download apps and everything on android but i so wanted to have the experience of procreate as well. and i’m iphone 13 user so im dicey if i will like the android again! pls pls pls reply asap thank you
Hey Henry thanks for all your great tips and advice. Can you give us any advice on which iPad is best for house drafting and concept drawings? Also can you provide a link to the best procreate app because just browsing through the App Store I only can seem to find the pocket version?
question here im in the thinking of moving to los angeles and work as an architect since i just got my degree is it worth it and was it easy to find a job or was it painfull?
Henry's 4 streams of income 1. Full time Architecture job 2. Moonlighting- Doing renders for other firms 3. Pen & Ink drawing Etsy Shop 4. Architecture Photography
I am an architectural designer who got layoff recently and I have the photograph and free hand skills but I really don’t know how to start!! And after my first time getting layoff I feel the corporate companies don’t deserve my hard work because at the end they don’t appreciate it and once they run over budget they will let you go. Right now I feel disappointed and lost and I really don’t know who to start or even considering changing career especially with the job market nowadays it’s awful!
As a 2011 architecture grad I am so jealous. Do the schools still have computer labs with the applicable software students need? If so, I would be using the school's PCs for autodesk programs and I wouldn't bother with a personal laptop. I'd get a 13" ipad pro with a cheap 3rd party bluetooth keyboard and stylus. The pencil pro would be on my birthday or christmas list. You can do all of your gen ed on an iPad now. You can do some architectural studio work as well with the Affinty or Adobe suite.
but some schools don't have computer lab tho and when your past the first year you need a laptop of your own - im gonna buy an ipad air because it's gonna help me a lot and later on i might invest in a pro if i need one
Hi Henry, I have air 4 with me and I am looking for a change as my air 4 is getting old. I am a fashion designer and artist. Can you please suggest me which iPad to go for ? Will mean a lot.
This reminds me of my job. It’s completely different, I work in a bakery but it feels like family every time I work. You have a great job hopefully I can find this in my next job 🤞🏽
