I see AUTO HOLD for the first time on an Equinox, low and left side of the dash next to the AUTO STOP/START defeat button. I'll just crank her up and hit those two buttons right off the bat and be on my way.
The only thing I would like is hood struts, turn signals in the mirrors and they could've bumped the power up a bit or kept the 2.0 engine for the 250hp! At least GM added middle headrest for the rear seats! And the fuel economy numbers aren't that great!
I flipped a coin and rolled with the 2LT AWD EV with the active safety package. Found a deal that brought the sticker down to $39,700 with incentives. It did not make sense to go with ICE LT with Safety/Tech and Convenience packages AWD comparing the value between the two. Also the Equinox EV driving comfort is superior over Equinox ICE models. I can charge at home and work so that did not factor in. Switching over to the Equinox EV over ICE turned out to be a good deal for a daily grocery getter and I am very satisfied with the purchase. Either way Chevy has a winner line up.
Gm better keep their automobiles in the 70 % American. Canadian and Mexican but it's a real shame that the Corvette is only 40 % American REAL SHAME ON YOU.😮 😢 😮 😢 😢🎉
When you turn off the rear view mirror camera and just view it as a normal mirror, it doesn’t allow you to adjust it high enough. You have to lower your head to see out of it. I sat inside one myself. This isn’t good.
The interior looks cheap Chevy is so behind on the interior design, they redesign the exterior and make the interior still look cheap and dated with cheap plastics that won’t hold up.
The new Honda CRV and Nissan Rogue have 1.5Ts as well, and technology has come a long way. The 1.4T in the Abarth isn't direct injection or really fancy in any way at all, uses a medium size turbo, and has poor low end performance before 3K rpm when the turbo spools. Compare that with the 1.5T in the Rogue that is variable compression and with an exhaust manifold that is integral to the cylinder head and other advances, and while the 1.4T Abarth gets 33mpg highway on a 2400lb vehicle with a small narrow frontal profile and makes 160hp, the 1.5T in the Nissan gets 37mpg highway on a MUCH heavier 3500lb vehicle that is much wider and taller while making over 200hp, all on 87 octane. 1.5T is fine, it just needs a BETTER 1.5T.
I have a ‘23 LS with the midnight pkg. Truly all they did is make additional pkgs standard, added a CVT (huge mistake) and with the now standard features, raised the price. These automakers are not catering to the consumer, they are catering to inflation.
Do the rear seats recline and move back and forth like the old Equinox. Can you get a Bose sound system? Does the front pass seat fold down like the trailblazer?
I have a 2011 Chevy Equinox, so every upgrade is cool! I will say when I went to the New York International Auto Show in Spring 2024, the 2025 Equinox was designed a little differently. Most notably it was lower to the ground, also the headlights were thinner. But I understand concept car to production vehicle are two different things. Great car overall!
It's a beautiful design, but Chevy should have gone 2.4 L V4, 284 HP with a VVT Transmission as an option instead of the 1.4L 175 HP with a CVT standard in all the trims.
@chadharmon5716 I agree Chad... I know the 2.4 V4 285Hp is in the Blazer. They went with the V4 175 as a standard engine in the Equinox, and I walked away
@@alanmorrison3598 Well you are the guy that said "no buttons for headlight ECT. Fail !!" My point is what I typed. When was the last time you operated that switch?
Looks like MARY strikes again, has to be the o ly reason why a CVT would've been put in such a beautiful vehicle oh well just another she she is F'N up😢
the same pathetically slow turd of an engine. and Chevy has had a massive issues with it just losing power. every one of our fleet of Equinoxes has been in the shop multiple times because of this. my 22 model is the shop for the THIRD time right now and Chevy should be sued as all these companies and owners are footing the repair costs. not to mention there is no doubt that many accidents have happened because of this issue. I had to pull off in the emergency lane one time as the vehicle just lost speed on the interstate going up a small grade. and even when this POS is performing like it should it is still super laggy and sluggish.
Driven a CVT vehicle... I don't like it. It takes away from the control that you'd have in a Automatic transmission vehicle. In our driveway, we have a 16 equinox (6-speed) and a 21 Rogue (CVT) and the 6 Speed is easier to control. The CVT chooses for me and I don't like it.
