Hi For a Procurement Manager, I would recommend the Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) certification from ISM. While the Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) from APICS offers a broader perspective on supply chain management, CPSM provides a more in-depth focus on procurement, which is directly relevant to your role. For those primarily focused on procurement and sourcing, ISM might be a better fit. APICS, on the other hand, is ideal for professionals involved in manufacturing or logistics. hope it helps
Pricing for the CPSM is incomplete, the pricing you listed is for the learning system only. After that you must pay for each of the tests which costs $495 each. Total cost is somewhere closer to $2700
I have a bachlor degree in logistics management and international commerce , i ve been working in operation room for a security company and currently working as a reservation agent for an airline, im currently thinking about whether to go for a supply chain master degree or a logistics management transportation, really struggling with the choice, i find supply chain management more promising, while on the other hand logistics management sounds like a good choice taking in consideration my experience as a coordinator and my recent experience as a reservation agent even though its not a big role. 😂This is so complicated
Hi, Well just to ease your confusion, The experience you have as a reservation agent (Co-ordinator) has equal importance for both supply chain and logistics career. Before making a decision to go for masters , you need to checkout that why you want to go for masters. keep in mind If the reason is to get a job and you are not able to get job by applying offline, then masters can help by college placements. For this you have to choose reputed college which has good history of placement, else after the completion of your course you will find yourself at the same place just like now and after a significant time. I would suggest if you are able to join any company in the supply chain and logistics domain then get it and try to gain experience there and them move to high roles. Hope this help

I am from India and working in logistics in 13yrs I have lot of experience in Export Documentation and Operations Executive how can I get job in USA or Canada
Are the salaries good in logistics in India?? I want to enter logistics field.. I like to keep track of things and stay organised..can you suggest me anything in this? I don't know much about the industry can you please give me some idea?
Hi For work in Canada, you need to get a Canadian work permit or a Canadian PR , which is far easy than getting permission to work in USA. You might need to build connection (via LinkedIn) with the company executive or with someone who is working in Canada and then need to search for opportunity with them. But do remember generally Canadian people get preference over other for the jobs. you might also need to up skill yourself as Canadian job market is very competitive. For USA , easiest way to get the job , you need to be in company who has office in USA and you would be able to take a transfer. Hope this help
Hi thanks for asking. For USA: There are some ways 1. Go to USA for Higher Studies and then get college placement - It require huge college fee and at least 1 year of course 2. Get a job with any US company in India and then try to get a transfer. - This will also attract some years to get established in the job and then get the transfer. 3. Directly hunt for jobs in USA. - This is a bit tough as it attract legal complication (VISA nd Work permit etc) For Canada: Apart from the above 1-2 ways You need to take a PR first , as people with PR get the priority in jobs and the you need to search jobs with your connection. Jobs in canada also has higher competition , as many people recently shift there with PR. Earning In Both US and Canada you can earn median salary of $ 60,000 - $ 80,000, Even more depend on your skill and exp. Additional Tips 1. Join logistics and supply chain management associations in the USA or Canada to get access to job boards, resources, and networking opportunities. USA: APICS (Association for Supply Chain Management), CSCMP (Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals). Canada: Supply Chain Canada (formerly the Supply Chain Management Association), CITT (Canadian Institute of Traffic and Transportation). 2. Some regions in the USA (like California, Texas, and New York) and Canada (like Ontario, British Columbia, and Alberta) may have more job opportunities in the logistics sector. Hope This help
