Usually my normal cleaner and an electric scrub brush does the trick. Sometimes, I use a bit of bleach spray after scrubbing and let it sit before rinsing. This helps any tough spots.
Polyacrylic is water based right? Just wondering how it will do when you wipe it down. It looks very nice!! Thx for the idea with the sponges - great idea!
My daughter wants me to remove her door in her condo and this was a good video. Didn’t look too hard, something I can do within a couple of hours so I will give it a try, thanks for the video and good job doing it yourself✊🏽👊🏽🔥
Sadly, we didn't get it clean all the way. But it's much better! Zep cleaner has worked the best so far. A Target bleach spray helps keep it fresh in between deep cleanings (even though I hate bleach).
@@LandDHome go for it! I would rather have a lack of flooring if I could have a wide open space! Just my 2 cents of course. Have fun! I hope to maybe see it in an upcoming video!
I'm a part time WFH mom to a toddler. My husband works from home also. All household tasks seem to be never ending since we're here all the time, making messes, eating, and using things. My favorite task in our house is folding the laundry. I do a load each day and every afternoon I can just take a break from work and fold and put laundry away while my son runs around. I hate scrubbing the showers/tubs. Second after that is mopping/sweeping, because it seems like it gets bad again every 4 hours in our house. Also, it's my dream to have a deep single bowl sink like that- trying to wash the high chair tray 3x a day in mine is a nightmare
Maybe I need to start thinking of folding laundry as relaxation. I've never thought about it this way. 😀 Floors get dirty so fast. It amazes me! I have to say having a deep sink has been awesome. We found ours at Menards at a pretty decent price. Not sure how much it's selling for now but I'd be happy to link it if I can find it.
I struggle with our fridge too. I'd love to have shelves for different areas- dairy, lunchmeat, veggies, leftovers, etc. But when I'm putting food back in the fridge, the last thing I'm thinking about is where I'm putting it back. I honestly don't think there's a cure for that. I clean out my fridge about every day now, and I do it while my son is eating, since his high chair is right there. I put little bits of his leftovers in there, but I only keep the containers a day or two because I know they're not appealing anymore lol. For your fridge with everyone's different items, if it were me, I'd declutter regularly to have enough space for your normal things, and then have drawers for each person. Or maybe someone has 2 shelves on the door and that's their "spot". I love the idea of adding bins and all that to the fridge, but I feel like in the end, less is more has always worked for me when it comes to keeping the fridge cleaned out. Long comment, but I think about this stuff all the time :)
I love the idea of everyone having their own spot! I probably need to really rethink some of the items we are keeping and not using. That way we all have room and can store our normal items as well.
