It really depends on what you are trying to achieve. Sculpey has more beige tones once baked and cernit is the most clear. I’m sorry I have not been able to upload videos and/or create at all the past couple months. Life is finally starting to settle back down so i will definitely be uploading soon. ❤️❤️ but as for sculpey vs cernit. I love them both. I use sculpey when using mediums to color the clay such as mica powders and alcohol inks. Cernit I use when I want the most clear translucency. Hope this helps answer your question. ❤️❤️
Just A Tip If You Don’t Like The Shiny Back You Can Use A Cotton Make Up Pad Add Some Acetone To The Make Up Pad And Wipe The Back And It Will Take The Shine Away 💕💕💕💕
I use Amazon for most of my items but for clay I order from blueberry beads. If you are just starting out you will need a roller, tissue blade, ceramic tile preferably to bake on, liquid clay (translucent) and cutters of your choice, I suggest the metal ones of all different shapes that are very inexpensive as I still use those mostly. If you are looking for translucent clays cernit, sculpey, and fimo are all good. As for colored clay which you can use to color your trans. I would start off with primary colors since you can mix them to any color you want. You can get cheap mica powder and alcohol inks as well so don’t feel the need to buy the expensive items. If I’m missing anything let me know but that should be good to start with. ❤️ I’m finally feeling better after my accident so I should be starting my tutorials once again this week. Thank you for your support and if you need any help please feel free to message me. 😍
6:27 so satisfying 😵💫best trans I’m enjoying ur art an congratulations on the new recording device! When you rolled this out omg 😱 fantastic an I even loved it on the pin! I’d play that in repeat 🔂 if I could!!! Thank you for sharing your talent and time with us!
Thank you soooo much!! Your words mean more to me than you know. I was in an accident a few days ago that left me with some broken ribs, bruised sternum, and bruised up face so I’ve had to stop “arting “ 😱🤣🤣 but your comment reminds me to not let anything keep me down and to keep on creating. Thank you 😊
Thank you 😊 unfortunately the day after I made these I was in an accident and now have some broken and bruised ribs and sternum 😩 so again am late to posting new tutorials for y’all 😱🤯 hopefully I’ll be better asap.

Thank you. And I’m sorry there haven’t been more posts. I was in an accident this week and broke some ribs so I’m stuck not creating for a few days 😩 I am just so grateful for anyone that gets inspiration from my work. Ugh I’m all choked up over here 🥰🤣🤣🤣
Hey Christina l Absolutely Loved This And Also At Normal Speed For Us Learners Thank You For Sharing Your Talent With Us Also Hello From Australia 💕💕💕💕💕
You are welcome 😚 I’m glad you enjoyed it and I’m even happier to be able to not have to speed it up and give full recordings. It’s a pain in the a** to edit for Facebook lol
Thank you!!!! 😊 I was getting so frustrated with this particular one because my storage was full so goodness it was a bit of a chore. I’m so excited tho for the new tutorials coming this week. I am actually trying for a rainbow fluorite right now 😱🫣😍🤩 and however it comes out I will be posting. Hoping to get pretty close ❤️❤️
I’m excited to have you here ❤️ I’m still learning how to use RU-vid but I think I finally have a good idea lol. I wasn’t even sure how to find comments a couple weeks ago 😨🫣🤣🤣🤣 But thank you and I will be posting much more content t this week. ❤️❤️
Thank you so much. I’ve had some family emergencies for past few weeks so have not been able to upload any new videos but they will definitely be coming soon. ❤️ I love watching clay videos as well 😊
Sorry love I just saw this message. I have been away from my clay for a couple weeks but am back. I will definitely show you how I made the back. Hopefully I have a video still. I am new to RU-vid so still trying to get used to it lol. Anyways thanx for watching ❤️❤️❤️
I feel awful I have been meaning to post new full tutorials because these are sped up and edited for Facebook and the other platforms. I should be back to recording this week tho. ❤️
I love Deb my kitty watches her when she does the chippy choppy. In the evening I’ll say Mabel do you want to watch the chippy choppy lady in a terrible British accent
So far so good but I wanted to see the rest, what they look like after curing; and after what, if any, treatments you give - sanding, buffing, resin, or varnish. This is true for other shorts of yours. Will you show that in future posts?
Yes I will Deb. I’ll have full step by step videos with explaining what I am doing. It’s so much better to not have to shrink and speed up those videos just for facebook and instagram so I can’t wait. I have just been really busy past couple weeks so haven’t had time to.
I definitely can! I love it too and was planning on having more blues for the next one so I might as well film it ❤️ I am super excited to not have to edit my videos so much and can actually give you all “real” tutorials ❤️🤣
Yea these are all videos that had to be super edited and sped up for facebook and instagram. That’s what I’m so excited about is that I won’t have to do all that stuff anymore and can give you REAL tutorials ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you and I will be Finally posting a full video that hasn’t had to be shrunken down and sped up for Facebook 😱🤣🤣 so I’m excited. Hopefully Saturday it will be up ❤️
this is very pretty! The only thing is i don't understand what it is and why you did this. This question was not ment for any hate, just asking! congrats on ur first vid and i cant wait to see more! Stick wit your passion even if this vid only gets a little amount or like, views or comments does not mean people don't apreciate ur work! STAY STRONG💪💗!!!
Hi ❤️ the videos I have posted on here were very edited and sped up to be posted on instagram and facebook. So now I’m going to give full videos and step by step. I will have one up on Saturday. Finally no more time consuming editing 😍🤣🤣🤣🤣
Like the others are saying...I'm so so so happy I found your channel today. Wonderful inspiration. Thank you for taking the time to create these tutorials.
Oh my goodness I’m very new to RU-vid and had no idea I was getting messages or comments! Wow I’m super happy and excited that I’m an inspiration for you all. I will definitely post more often and full length tutorials from now on. Also if there is anything you want me to share or try even any color combos let me know because I love getting others ideas too 🥰
Thank you and I’m super excited to see comments and feedback on here. I’ve never used used RU-vid before except to watch videos or music lol. But thank you so very much for watching too! Now that I know that people are watching or getting inspired by my videos I will definitely be posting more regularly and actual full length tutorials or just my creative process which is a very organic process 🤣🤣🤣
@@carolroberts8539 I will be posting again starting next week. My life has been a circus for past couple of months so I’m finally getting back to a sense of normalcy and can start to create again. 🤣🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️
Hi and I’m so sorry I didn’t see your comment until now. I’m new to learning RU-vid and how it works but I will definitely be posting more often now that I see the interest and giving inspiration ❤️❤️❤️ I broke my scaphoid bone in my hand but it’s very close to the wrist so no movement there or my thumb. But it’s almost healed now but took a very long time because it’s one of those bones you never ever want to break that take much longer to heal.
🙋 Just found you today, really love you work. I also follow Deb, and many others.... Which now includes you. Thank you so much for sharing your talent. Look forward to seeing what you do next.. Take care and blessings to you and yours. Sue 😺🙏💕
Goodness I’m so excited and also so sorry to just be seeing these comments. I didn’t even think anyone was watching and didn’t know how to use RU-vid at all lol. I’m very thankful for the kind words and will definitely post more often and with fuller tutorials. And yes Deb is the cutest ❤️❤️❤️ I actually think I have videos that I can post now that I have been posting to my facebook. But heck yea thanx for watching and let’s be friends 🥰🥰🥰🤣🤣🤣🤩🤩 let me know if anything in particular you’d like me to create or try. ❤️❤️
Hi there and I’m so sorry for such a delayed response but I’m very new to RU-vid and had no idea I was getting comments or messages. But hello and thank you for the kind words and to answer your question I bake all my translucent clays even if lives with sculpey premo colored clays at 270 degrees for 25 minutes and actually 20 is fine too but since I put my tile in the oven and then start the bake time I added the 5 minutes. I tent with foil and on a tile but I immediately take them out after time is up and place into a cold water or ice bath. Just to stop the baking process and because I’m super impatient 🤣🤣🤣
It’s Japanese: mokume (mo-koo-may) gane (gah-nay) I also love Deb and I’m also a beginner. Loved the vid and your style but it was a little frenetic! Slow done and things still for a sec. I’m old and need a little time to SEE. Looking forward to more videos…I don’t do facebook. (yuk)❤️❤️
Hi there and so sorry to just now replying and even seeing your comment. New to RU-vid so didn’t even know I was getting any messages or anything. And yes I will definitely slow down which I am going to put full tutorials that are not sped up on here soon. Now that I know I have some interest and I’m helping others I will definitely be posting more often. Nice to meet you and thanx for watching. 😍
Hi and I’m so sorry for the late reply. I am still getting used to RU-vid as well as been away from clay for a couple weeks. Anyways yes you can most definitely use something else. You actually don’t need any heat at all and can just slowly stretch and dip multiple times. Like dip with your fingers to make the dimensional look and stretch to create cracks. But thank you so much for watching. Lots of new content coming this week. I just posted an agate video today as well.
