Garen has such a bad wr vs Darius only because dudes think that he is 0 iq champ and they can carry since the first game, and then just losing to every Darius they meet. When in fact, Garen quit counters Darius if you know this matchup very good.
I actually really love the darius matchup because usually people pick darius because they see its a counter but they dont actually know how to counter garen or even how to really play darius. While I had plenty of games of garen vs darius and know exactly what to do and when I have kill pressure.
@@monkey3101garen healing in lane is garbage if the enemy laner knows how to counter it. you literally have to take 0 champion damage for 8 seconds. and even then the regen is slow in the early game. the reason its good isnt because of laning, its because in mid to late game he can stay on the map much longer than any other champuon
Well darius needs to get ahead early or he has no agency and becomes relegated to second support. Maybe you could get a nice front to back fight with a good execute but in higher levels the enemy will not let you do that easily
Of course, they would want to ff15 and complain in chat when they lose lane. They lost control, know they will be having less fun, and also have to live with the shame of losing lane

Do you think Magical Footwear + Cosmic Insight is much better now to compensate for the Movespeed nerf across the board and Garen relies heavily on Flash to make play?
Yea the magical footwear are really good but at the same time, you might need the survivability from the resolve tree or the early speed from the sorcery tree. So its hard to find matchups where you can greed and survive long enough to get your boots while also not giving up on earlygame power too much. If you are in a free matchup then I think the boots are really good.
