Different speaker is definite point, however, I bought both to compare and hooked up both amps to the speaker in the 64, and then both amps into the speaker in the 65, and there is a huge difference in the sound of the amp! The 64 had much more character and better sounding breakup.
Is it worth double the price for people where 1500 matters? This is pro-amp terroritory. And what kinda weirdo gets a tube Amp and not interested in overdriving tube saturation? FREAKS I TELL YOU!!!
"Playability? It's a Les Paul." Ouch !!!!! LP was infamous for its playabiliy. . I'm convinced if every review confirms the playability on par with Ibanez-Wizzard-neck.
I knew several Taylor employees. They consistently described an horrible work place. People thrown into positions with almost no training. Very low pay and summary dismissals with no explanations. The guitars are mediocre at best. And WAY overpriced.
Any advice what I should use for singing and acoustic guitar? I don't want to use pickup just microphone for guitar. I need for practice and small audience. Should I use acoustic amp or PA and which one you are advice?

The Taylor sounds more natural, but at almost twice the price. I looked at both, chose the Fishman. More versatile, more effects, where the Taylor is a one trick pony, though a fine one.
