Was it serious question not being sarcastic. You said that your dad doesn’t like tattoos but you still got one to represent him do you think it’s weird to get a tattoo to represent a family member even if they don’t like them because I’m thinking about that?
Good question! I had originally gotten the Pink Floyd “hands” tattoo because Pink Floyd is one of my favorite bands and I knew the album cover would make for a good tattoo. Pink Floyd also happens to be one of my dad’s favorite bands and though I didn’t get the tattoo specifically for my dad... it does remind me of him and brings back good memories. So maybe saying it represented him wasn’t the best choice of words on my part. You can totally have a tattoo that represents someone or the memories you share with certain people, regardless if they like tattoos or not. I don’t think that’s weird at all, and at the end of the day it’s your body your choice.
Thank you so much! The best advice I can give is to get tattoos that mean something to you. I know I said that not all tattoos need a meaning, though its less likely you'll regret it if it has a special meaning. Also, choosing a style that you know you'll love forever helps. I don't regret any of my tattoos but I do however wish I got my first two in the "American traditional" style that all my tattoos are now. Hope that helps! :)
@@mads_martellacci Thank you! That helps a lot :). I already have a few in mind and I wanna go for a dainty, but not too dainty look? If that makes sense lol. But the style thing is an issue for me, cause I do love little flowery tattoos but also realistic pieces (which are most of the time a bit bigger and less dainty and minimalistic lol) so I'm worried that that might not look good together as a whole. But then again it might? Idk hahaha, I'll see, but anyways thanks for the advice! Means a lot :)
