Thank you so much for your video. I had to pick a topic for my assignment. It could be our favorite hobby and it's gardening. I love gardening you've taught me so much.
@@navajopollentrail5071 I went to Little Singer. I recognized you from the Go My Son video. You taught that to us even back then. Before the dome was built and the library was in the little hogun.
Good evening! I started watching your videos because my students performed "Go My Son" for their 5th grade Exit Ceremony. I love your videos. Thank you so much! Your lessons are getting to Magdalena, NM!
Brent you need to tell them made up stories and make them cry like you did with us girls haha! They are so cute and you have so much talent with these kids!
Sir, I’m watching your oldest video and I could not comment there and wanted to express my admiration for your craft! I am in awe. English is not my ative language so forgive me if I make a mistake or sound in any way disrespectful. I’m gonna go back to the video now. This one will have to wait 😊
Thank you for sharing some of your traditional language & spindle techniques. Very easy to comprehend ... well in theory anyway lol Cheers from Australia 🐨 🐾
I made my own drop spindel but I will also make one like this. I learn by watching many people then do my own spin to things. Yes I am disabiled with a learning disability. I always wanted to try different culture ways of spinning sense I was little. Now that I have my own place I can make and create at will.
Howdy, and thank you for sharing. I did both ends on my mini tiny loom -- I like it. Thanks again. I'm guessing as the only explanation I found for doing this is ? They separate warp ends that might twist around each other. They allow you to feel any twists in the warp threads so you can delicately work them out before breakage or tension problems happen. mmm Once I start anew I think it'll make more sense to me. Thanks again.
Beautiful pictures and music. I was wondering if you would explain the depiction of the baby being held up in the light with a feather being held to its foot? My grandmother was Dine' but she has been gone for a loooong time. So I appreciate videos like yours that I can learn from. Thank you.
It is harder to finish if you weave all the way up to one end - you will still have to use the needle to weave in the weft, but there is not much give when you are working right up against the pegs (or the top bar on a larger loom) so it is very tight and difficult. Having a few inches done on the far end makes it easier to weave in the last rows. Also, this pattern has the same border on the top and bottom, so if you weave only from the bottom up, you have to guess where to start the top border, and it will be the reverse of the bottom - on a pattern like this, if you make the border on the bottom, turn the loom around and do it again on the other end, they will be the same. The center is all one color so you just have to fill it in, no need to measure.
