I’m actually looking into getting one of these for my wedding next year. The grassy green dial matches the wedding’s color palette fairly well. It’s neck and neck with a shunbun or their spring watch.
Just picked this up on Reddit. Another great review, also great to find out you’re also Canadian! All the best, would like to shake your hand some day after seeing so many of these awesome reviews. From one Canadian watch enthusiast to another, take care brother.
This is the kind of watch if you own and enjoy slightly smaller watches it is absolutely perfect and can last you a lifetime and can be matched with almost any outfit
I have this on steel braclet and i have 6inch wrists this watch will never leave my box collet ever, and i dont know how could you sale this watch it looks so good on your wrist, the omega looks huge on your wrist, i wear this always at night its just reflect the tungsten lights so well at my house 😍
Good review. Nice PO also. I wonder how much better this Submariner is over past submariners. I have the 16610 and also the original seamaster 300. Love both of those oldies.
A great look.🍎 Love the case shape, and the size on your wrist. A bit of a bummer, imo, that GS decided against dauphine hands; I don't understand that decision.🧐
The disclaimer aat the beginning was perfect More people who post here need to clarify these things You seem like a level headed guy Thanks for the review of these wallets
Hello! Nice video I have a 38mm version and still can't find a comfortable position. Tried your hack too. I currently have seven links on the 7 o'clock side and 9 links on the opposite side. The clasp position under the palm seems pretty centred. However, the inner part of the clasp itself seems quite sharp. Irritates my hand (the part where it folds, near 6 o'clock) Have you had anything similar? Thank you.
A few years late to the conversation, but I have both the Tudor and the Oris. Honestly? The Tudor BB58 is on my wrist 5x more than the Oris. It's just a much better feeling watch - as it should be given the cost. But yeah, I have always loved Oris and it's been the underdog brand I root for.
Hey engineer i was wondering what made you sell this watch i owned a sje093 i regreeted selling that one i feel like this is the next one my list so just want your opinion on what made yoy move on from this one?
Mine was running 18-22 seconds fast per day. I returned it’s this was totally unacceptable for that kind of money. My sbgc242 spring drive Chrono is 1/4 of a second fast every day. My Glashutte SEAQ runs 1.3 seconds fast and my Omegas are also comparable. How does Grand Seiko even have the guts to sell these to the public? Should be ashamed.
It's just the lacquer on the dial mate. I had a Seiko Presage Enamel watch that had even deeper distortion effects than what you see here, over much of dial, more so around the date cut-out window. The effect was actually mesmerizing to me. But if you don't want anything like that, or are a more 'plain-jane' guy (lol) then I'd just stick to very traditional kinds of watches. Your level of purism is befitting your profession, mr engineer man.
Hi Sanjay, I just discovered your channel and I am so glad I did. You are a breath of fresh air in not just the watch community but in this world. Thank you for your content and your well wishes in each video. You are infinitely valuable and have gained a new subscriber :). Cheers!
What's your wrist measurement? And perhaps more importantly, how wide is the top of your wrist? Seems about the same length as the end link to end link dimension but wanted to verify.
