That is a beauty! My father had a black one, this one is not playing a duo art rol in the video, it can also play normal 88 rolls but then it doesn't reproduce the programmed dynamics. Which is what the Duo-art system does.
Nice organ...but it is not a B3, A100 or C series....sorry. This one sounds like it should be in a roller rink. :) The percussion is nice but that is about all I like about it.
Hi Frank, I inherited this old player piano from the previous owner of my house. May I know how can I get the piano auto play? I could not find the lever to switch the take-up spool from rewind to play mode. I watch some tutorials but I'm still clueless about it. Much appreciated!
Yes and thank you. More than just screaming, screeching, and operatic shit. That's why I don't like many recordings of them. I'm sure the stops sound nice.
I suggest that the best "church" sound would be the pipe organ stops with the Hammond sounds on a slow Leslie the, chorale sound. Since it's totally digital, I can imagine this console with a couple of giant speaker systems, one on each side for stereo. The problem is finding an organist who is skilled enough to know how to set up the instrument. If you're selling this, what's the price range of it? I'm just wondering out of curiosity.
@@pianodon You might be right about that. We often forget about the "SLOW" setting on the Leslie. That's because we're so obsessed with getting the system (console/Leslie) to "sing," or make haunting sound effects. Church organ sounds don't need the unnecessary tremolo/vibrato. SLOW should work. I have never been around or played one in my life. Deep down, I have a curiosity about them. It's one of those things, that with an open mind, I actually like. It would help to actually take the time to learn around, and think outside the pop music box.

Like the old Lowrey's Holiday's, Hammond Concords, Commodor, Elegante Hammond X66 and host of others.. this is a series showing the different model Workstations, and how they can be set up with a swell pedal and bass pedals to give someone the experience of playing a home organ, with rhythms and accompaniment. Many people are scaling back and can't fit their larger old console organs into their scaled down apartment or high rise. Instead of getting away from music and playing, the workstations can be set up with accessaries to give the same enjoyment and experience of playing a home organ without the large footprint and furniture. We can sell you a shell for as little as $200.00 If you want us to take the strings off and remove cast iron frame it would be $400.00 If you want us to do the whole book shelf it probably would cost over $1000.00 depending on the extent of the work a person wants done.. Another expense is transportation. ..
It seems to have a rosotonic bass speaker without the upper rotary horn. It would need an external Leslie to do it justice, especially for the pipe sounds.
The purpose of the silent piano/headphone feature is to mute the strings so you do not hear the strings. It is possible to combine the digital and audio together but then this audio is routed to the speaker output. I guess it would be possible to re-route the digital output to headphones instead of speakers but that would be self defeating. An acoustic piano by it's very nature excludes any electronic speakers or headphones, unless you decide to just record the piano and listen back latter through headphones.

The 970 is discontinued.. it is replaced with the PSR SX900 the 970 sold for about $1999 the SX900 sells for $2299.00 The PSR SX 700 is similar to the 970 and sells for $1599.99 It has the virtual drawbars like on the video.. With the upgraded features it is almost the same as the 970 without the higher price tag. Currently we have the SX 900 in stock and the SX 600 in stock. If your interested in either one let us know..
