I just purchased a 115 used and had it out once (late fall here) and I did the same thing, I wanted to test the stability. I found that it seemed a bit wobbly but also that I was more likely to lose my balance and fall out without tipping the kayak. I don't see one being able to overturn or flip the 115, but I can definitely see falling out if you have a terrible sense of balance.
Cool. Just ordered the 135 and am pacing like an expectant father again. One of my main drivers was sup fishing for sight and fly. BTW. Love the dog in the vid. He's like, ”Bro, did you forget someone?”
Hahaha, Bill I had the same feeling for waiting to get mine it's just one of those types of purchases! Your gonna love it man, cool thing about the 135 is the Super high seat from the ATAK is made to work with that kayak def a great option for SUP fishing. Hope the best man!
I'd have to say it's great for its width, head to head vs my buddy in a tarponX130 I was a little slower but then again all depends on how strong your upper body is. Hope this helps, and the good thing about the radar is you can pedal to.
thats awesome to hear! I am upgrading to one likely in a month or two from my ride 115x that thing is a barge beyond belief. but for it to be similar to a tarpon 130x that gives me great hope!
