Hello I am trying it for the first time, maybe you have a drawing for me that I can use and how you made it with cardboard, this in connection with the sizes, thank you kind regards from the Netherlands
I didn't draw out the design ahead of time. I looked up images on Google for inspiration and winged it. Whenever I make the base, I improv it till it works. I did the same thing for a smaller dragon I just recently made.
Hey man, great video. I have a question about Drinking Horn. Do i have to reheat the same horn every time when i want to reseal it with beewax? (Mine has already been sealed once and polish) is the heating the Horn before waxing only necessary the first time? If so can i just coat the horn without reheating it with beewax for maintainance? Thanks!
Not really needed at that point. Just make sure it's super clean before you reseal. You only use the boiling water the first time to kill bacteria still left over from the animal / warehouse. The bees wax keeps it from getting that dirty again, just use some dish soap and clean it out before resealling.
Thanks for the video. Planning to make a lid for my son’s drinking horn and yours is perfect. Need a pattern for a solid sleeve carriers vs the two-strap carrier
The spray foam s the biggest cost factor. 7-12$ a can and I used 4. The roll of foam was 10-15$ roughly The rest were a few bucks here and there Prolly spent 80$ estimated on this
THANK YOU so much for this video, Alex !!!! I couldn't bring myself to be there because my wife had recently passed away. I am crying that I was able to see this. I am so Happy for Valeri and Audie !!!!
