Hi , Welcome to my channel. In my tiny corner I love to create cards , 4X6 layout in general love any paper crafting and also play with beads . I love the Lord and every creativity gene comes from him.
Thank you so much for showing off the "Fried Green Tomatoes" kit my friend! So glad that you like it. Walmarts cardstock is great as well and is very reasonably priced. We love you! Big hugs!
Love this idea. This is why I love your channel. Even though I have watercolors and micro beads I never thought to put them together. Thank you so much for sharing
Carmen, I am so glad that you are okay✝️. The handwriting book and pens are really neat. I purchased a calligraphy set (dip pen and seven inks) from a local thrift store for $1.50. I did not know that it was a calligraphy set when I purchased it. I saw the liquid inks in the sealed bag so I purchased it with the intention of trying to use the inks as watercolors since I do not own any. I have not began using the pen set yet because life has been busy for me but I shall get around to playing with it. I think that it will make a great addition to my junk journals once I learn the technique. Using your journal to keep up with your health is a great idea. Take care of yourself✝️🙂💜.
@@KnowHimKnowPeace8 Thanks my love!!! What a great find! For a $1.50 incredible! Hopefully things will slow down for you honey so you can see what you will do (or practice calligraphy or use them as watercolor) either way I know you will have fun. Take care, much love and a big hug😁. Btw I’m doing much better today!😁
And I was slacked in sweat! I was not able to move for more than 30 minutes and then I was able to talk and not move. Then after 45 minutes I was able to sit back up again. You should see my husbands face he was so scared and when I spoke to him this morning he was about to cry. (Love that man!)
Thanks for sharing! You did great making the marks. Once you start working with a gel plate, it's easy to get hooked! The possibilities are endless! It's one of the most artistic, fun things I've ever worked with in decades of artwork.
@@carmenrosas4281 LOL, I know what you mean ... I have a 3x5, 5x7, and 8x10, and just recently ordered the big 12x14 which I've not opened yet but anxious to try it out. Good luck and keep posting!
@@carmenrosas4281 Right? 🤣 And ... my first plates are Gelli Arts brand, but this new one 12x14 is by Gel Press, so I'm curious to find out if it's better than the other brand.
The photo of two little kids playing is so heartwarming! The fact that we dont know anything about their lives makes it even more fascinating because we can imagine they lived happily ever after. 😍 Thank you for sharing this great haul. I want to believe that all our memories will be one day donated and appreciated at antique shops, not just thrown in the bin.
@@UndinesOcean Hi UndinesOcean, so true, I will incorporate them in a future journal. I also wish that everyone will pass down so great memories with the details and info too😁
@@carmenrosas4281 how exciting! I'll stay tuned to see an update of the journal. 🎊 I was in high school when I was looking for a book that I needed for some homework and foud it in an antique shop. Inside that book was a postcard from Paris dated in 1947 from a man to his presumably girlfriend from overseas. I found it so romantic and intimate, I even started to create my own version of their story and tried to track them down. I think that's the moment when I started to love antiques, and that's how I found your video. Best of luck with your channel!
Hi Pati!😁 I had so much fun dear! I can’t believe that I had all those crafty materials and never used it. It was so intimidating but now I’m looking for ways to expand my knowledge on the mark making .😁 I also ordered a 6x6 one. 🤣🤣🤣
love what you did. I used to have a whole small bedroom in my condo years beck’s but now just have a teeny dining space as my space and I love it. Use what you have and make it work for what you need it for! That’s kind of my motto in general for my supplies.
@@poisonlady1965 Thanks dear! I hope you stick around to see the different things I do paper crafting related. It is also a way to make sure that whatever I bring has a home if not something has to go😁 Blessings
Hello Carmen, how are you doing? My drawing sucks and I guess because of that I stay away from watercolors. But, I did find a watercolor coloring book at the thrift store so one day (hopefully soon) I will give it a try. I just love to see colors on paper. That is the main reason that I started junk journaling, because of all the beautiful colors that you can put into a journal. I have a few journals that I came across that I had not completed putting them together so after I am done with them the watercolor coloring book should be next. Thank you for your inspiration to just pull out whatever we are working on and just have fun✝️🙂💜.
I don’t know how to draw either, but I was told by a teacher when I was a kid that no one was born with knowledge, that if I wanted to do something I just have to learn it and practice , and the more you practice, the better you get. I follow a lot of artists on RU-vid and they say the same thing, oh and they even say that their paintings are not perfect and they have been doing it for years. So imagine us that don’t know how to do it🤣 but it will be something that will make me happy at least for now.
Thanks for always supporting me, yes it is still watercolor but something different. So I will doing this for a little bit and will show and tell, what do you think?
