I love the Animal Crossing music! ❤❤ My NH Island is named Poundtown. I'm working on it all. ❤ oh ps thanks for the tutorial too...I've been wanting to make panels with my machine.
Looks beautiful knit but I'm worried about joining more yarn to it when you run out. Would the knot not smush that hollow tubing down and make a weird dent where it's joined together?
It would! Fortunately crocheting hides the knot pretty well but if I were to knit it would definitely show, I ended up crocheting a bag charm with this yarn! 🧶
Waste yarn is used to surround your working panel, sometimes the first and last few rows can have less tension or dropped stitches so using waste yarn can help prevent that. Later you would remove it and people generally use yarn they don't like for this that's why it's called "waste yarn", hope that helps! There's lots of tutorials around it too :)
hi kim idk if you’ll see this but try using elastic thread, the kind people use to make bracelets. i’ve used it and i think if you find a good brand and knot it correctly it’ll hold for a long time!
Thank you! Yes I've swam in and machine washed another one I made, it holds up well the bamboo yarn is very light weight. I would recommend hang drying it since the tied ends can get matted in the dryer
