yo, Quick tip: turn on gryo aim + gyro aim assist... i play on the switch and i have no trouble in playin on CONSOLE mode got 5 POTGS in a row too once
all switch players play on console server on crossplay and are better than other console players actually but it depends , you can play with pc players too wich is kind of crazy , i still managed to sleep pc sombra tho switch lite player here , you get used to the unique style of play , def different from pc , since it seems they play differently ?
don't worry i started ow back in switch (back in ow1 so long time) and i moved on pc for now but when i come back on switch like old days im struggling so bad :P
used to play on switch after my PC died and yeah it's a hard learning curve. I tried to play it for the first time again in like, a year the other day and I have to relearn it all over again if I want to continue with it :^)
As a switch player this made me giggle cause we get shit talked sometimes how were bad but when someone takes the learning experience I just laugh my ass off no offense you did great for your first console. Really You did great!!! love when people actually see what we as switch players deal with but with practice and getting the settings right it actually becomes fun. A few tips for switch if you do keep it downloaded every hero will need to be personalized for their settings. No joke. I spend a good 30-45 mins in practice range making sure I'm warmed up. then do some custom warm up code maps. a Good role to start out on switch to learn things would be support I started with Lucio due to just the healing/speed was easist to just sometimes take cover and swap healing and speed. Also sensitivity is a big thing. As I said earlier most heroes will need to be customized on their settings due to the aim assist taking place if you want to play certain heros. Switch is really fun especially when you get good. Also rectiles really help too. I started season 4 when kiriko dropped and I guess due to playing other switch fps games it was a bit easier to transfer experience. I started off as support since it was easiest to learn the controls. Im now a DPS/Tank player and get praised when people learn I beat them on a switch XD. If you do keep it up please do. There not a lot of OW switch RU-vidrs out there. Love the content, keep it up <3 <3 <3. If you ever wanna play with a switch player and get some god tips hit me up Id be happy to play with you :D :D
i was able to get to plat on brig on my switch. its was fun i have avout 400 hours played on the switch. note that i play hand held. idk if i will ever push rank to get higher who know. i have gotten rusty at the game
tbh ppl sht on controler, but if you think about it, you are way faster with a controler compared to pc. so the buttons are faster and closer together so you can use all your fingers to puch them. and that makes your reaction time 2 times faster ... +- and your movement will be better. the only downside is aim and even thats not to bad considering you get aim assist on console. ^-^
Try remapping the jump button to a shoulder button (zl or zr) to improve movement, and take your time adjusting the sensitivity of the controls. Takes time but it gets better with practice.
its a misery to play console crossplay with people, its like gump’s mama said “Life is like a box of chocolate, you’ll never know what you’ll get” but yeah hope you enjoyed the agony experience, i got 1200 hours on overwatch- got a keyboard & mouse connected to the switch port to make it feel like PC lol
I just had deja vu, cuz I’m 99% sure I seen this video last month… also, as an ex-switch player, one issue that does happen is that the sensitivity will ALWAYS feel worse there, but that might be because it’s an old console… I mean, overwatch 2 runs better on Xbox One and PS4, but I was an easy low plat on the switch because of how many fps games I used to play… now I’m an Xbox guy cuz my switch too old, to the point where it can’t keep up framerate-wise.
Bro I play on switch(handheld easier for me) and i can get a game in less that 1 minute (except stuff like mischief magic or mystery heroes) but when I do queue for damage roll it takes some time. I could play ow2 on my pc but i prefer to play on switch unless I want to play a different game mode. I usually play console pool I don't even know if I can change that. But maybe when you start on new console make a new account so you start with beginner players. I'm just used to playing most games like fortnite with joycons so when I play in PC it feels weird tho.
hey i have about 3k hours on overwatch just playing on switch ow1 i was a doomfist one trick and hit 3500 ow two i hit plat4 tank. switch counts as the same q with ps and xbox i play on joycons too :)) if you ever wanna q with a switch player lmk
