Outre que l'on me voit en gros plan à 37mn55 alors que j'étais concentré sur le travail du pas de deux que je conseillais non officiellement et dans lequel beaucoup de "moi" se retrouva en scène ( Melinda était ma compagne de l'époque, je faisais partie des murs, j'étais présent durant toutes les répétitions ce qui me fit vite regretter mon refus de ne pas faire partie du montage de Magique en raison d'une trop grande lassitude de Bravissimo et pensant replonger dans un univers artistique dont je ne voulais plus, et accepter avec joie d'y entrer quelques mois plus tard en remplacement de Philippe Bellot très sévèrement accidenté sur la route après son spectacle du 31 12 1994 dans lequel je dansais ! ), UN PEU D'HISTOIRE 30 ans plus tard, Rambert et d'autres ayant quitté ce monde : Bob TURK n'est pas l'inventeur du chapeau duquel sortait Melinda ( au début ) : cet effet remonte au moins à EXTRAVAGANZA 6TH, superbe revue de la grande époque de SUN CITY dont j'ai la video de 1985 ( que je mettrai bientôt en ligne ). Bob était cultivé dans son domaine et avait probablement la même video que celle en ma possession. Il avait essayé de placer un autre effet d'Extravaganza : le rideau de fond de scène qui disparaît d'un coup, avalé dans un petit trou situé au fond milieu de scène: très spectaculaire, surtout si synchro avec la musique . Mais après quelques essais infructueux ou douteux, ce fut abandonné. Bob a été juste un peu malhonnête en oubliant de dire que ces idées n'étaient pas de lui. Et il n'est pas du tout impossible qu'elles remontent à bien avant Extravaganza : on pourrait être surpris en fouillant Ziegfeld ou Busby Berkeley....
